Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Monday September 16: Brooke Panics Over Missing Husband, Ridge And Shauna Make Pact

The Monday, September 16, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, begins with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) running to answer her front door, wondering if it’s her missing husband. She’s downcast when she sees Eric Forrester (John McCook) standing there instead.

Eric tries to calm her fears about what where in the world Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could have disappeared to after their ugly fight. Domestic squabbles happen all the time and Ridge likely spent the night in the guest house. Eric knows that Ridge will return to her because home will always be home.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Gives Brooke Advice

Eric gives a distraught Brooke some fatherly advice: Ridge realizes how wrong his son has been but feels guilty for not being there for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for part of his childhood. However, Thomas can’t blame all of his issues on his dad’s absence, because Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) turned out just fine. Eric plays devil’s advocate, suggesting that maybe Brooke’s daughter is not completely blameless in the mess with Thomas.

After all, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) pushed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) out of their marriage, even though he was desperate to save it. Everyone, including Hope, Liam, and Thomas, acted out of grief. Eric cautions Brooke that Ridge feels responsible for correcting his son’s mistakes and won’t ever agree that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will be poisoned by the man that Thomas has become.

Ridge awakens in a strange room, wondering how he got there, where his pants are, and why Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) is so cheerful as she brings him aspirin and breakfast in bed. She explains that he passed out drunk at the Bikini Bar and she and Danny the Bartender (Keith Carlos) brought him upstairs to sleep it off. As she gushes about how he is her hero for saving her daughter, Ridge tries to put the pieces together about what happened to him at the bar.

The last thing he remembers is having a drink with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). When he asks why there’s a second glass of water on the nightstand, Shauna can’t wait to tell Ridge that he asked her not to leave, so she slept in the bed with him. Ridge refuses to believe that he asked her to stay the night. He fears the worst until Shauna assures him that nothing happened between them: the family jewels did not leave the safe. If they had, Ridge would remember.

Ridge and Shauna make a pact not to tell Brooke that Shauna slept in his bed. They share a tender moment as he apologizes for treating Shauna rudely and thanks her for caring for him and lying for him.
