A terrified Bill sits at Katie’s bedside, demanding that she come back to him and their son. Katie finally wakes up. Bill is thrilled, assuring her that he loves her and everything is going to be okay. Katie wants to go home, but Dr. Jordan Armstrong (Vincent Irizarry) says that she’s going to be seeing the inside of her hospital room for a while.
Dr. Armstrong’s diagnosis is cumulative damage to her kidneys from years of anti-rejection drugs for the heart transplant. They’ll start her on new medication, but nothing short of a new kidney will reverse the harm that’s already been done. Katie says no to a kidney transplant, but the doctor believes that she’s an excellent candidate. Until then, she’ll undergo dialysis. As the family gathers around her, Eric tells Katie that there are a lot of kidneys in the room and a lot of people willing to give her one.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester Wonders If Martinis Kill Germs
Eric wonders how he’s alive and healthy and the strong, young Katie is lying in a hospital bed. Maybe it’s because martinis kill germs? Ridge says that his dad is alive because he needs him.
Katie worries about what her son will think and what she’ll be once everything that’s damaged is replaced. Bill says that she’ll still be the woman that he loves, the mother of his son, and the woman who has taught him happiness.

Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) reels at the news that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) proposed to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Sally says that she has Flo to thank for making her look good in comparison. Both women wonder if Wyatt is trying to prove something to them by the engagement.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Quinn Forrester Blasts Wyatt Spencer
Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) blasts her son for proposing to the redheaded grifter. Wyatt snaps back that she obviously likes the blonde grifter better. He defends Sally, whose only crime was stealing a few designs from Forrester Creations, not a baby like Flo did. Sally was wrong to trust Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but she wasn’t the only one.
Quinn warns her son not to hurt himself to get even with Flo. She criticizes Sally for cutting corners, going for what’s easy, and never learning from her mistakes. Flo, on the other hand, had good intentions but got trapped in a horrible hoax. Wyatt reminds Quinn that Flo had months to come clean about the baby.

When Quinn learns that there’s no ring, she accuses Sally of conning her impulsive son into the proposal. Her tirade is interrupted by a phone call from Eric Forrester (John McCook), who announces that Katie is in kidney failure. When Wyatt calls Sally to give her the news, she tells Flo that her aunt Katie is in the hospital and it doesn’t look good.
