B&B writers thought both the viewers and the actors need a little bit of a break after a nine month stretch of a very emotional and draining storyline with the baby saga.
Even though they have taken a backseat lately to Thomas Forrester’s Matthew Atkinson) storyline, it won’t last long. Hope and Liam are about to embark on another big storyline and this one might be as emotional as the last one.

With Beth safely tucked away at home, the parents have been at home getting to know their daughter. They missed a lot of time, so they work to make up for lost time.
Scott Clifton shared that he felt, as well as the B&B showrunner Brad Bell, that the audience needed a breather. And, he added that he and Annika needed a break from it as well.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – What’s Ahead For Douglas Forrester?
With Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) father absent and possibly not the best person to raise him. Hope has an important decision to make. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that she will have to decide if she wants to pursue permanent custody of the boy.
And, Liam supports Hope’s desire to keep Douglas safe from Thomas, including suing for custody. B&B spoilers tease that during the week of September 30, Liam and Hope will work to keep the boy safe and refuse Thomas access to his son.

It sounds like it’s going to get pretty intense between Thomas and the Logans over his son, Douglas. Will Hope sue him for legal custody of Douglas so she can protect the child from his father’s erratic behavior? I feel the best outcome for Douglas would be to get him away from the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers; none of them are fit to be parents in my opinion. HIs grandmothers should have custody period. But this is the best story line you could give for Hope and Liam.

They care more about Douglas safety than their own daughter’s, but how long will it last if they do get succeeded get full custody of him. I think Liam will treat Douglas like Brooke did with Tridge kids.
HATE THE CHARACTER HOPE,and want her gone now,,sick of seeing her for almost two years now,,she ruined the show for a lot of people..and now having this loser character try and take THOMAS son away,,no way wish bell would rewrite the stupid beth baby switch story,,do the DNA,,the baby is not beth,,,belongs to the mystery woman from the clinic..WE WANT MORE STEFFY AND KELLY NOT HOPE AND LIAM,,writers have ruined liam character too leaving him with a loser like hope,,give Thomas his son back as long as he Lives with STEFFY
let hope get douglas and get as far away from his dad as possible as he is not quite there and is not a good dad and douglas need a stable family
The Dr. did put the woman’s baby who is dead in Hope’s arms and he made believe to Hope that it was her baby, maybe you didn’t watch this part properly

OMG stop showing Liam and Hope, I totally hate these characters. They are boring and to darn whiney….It was good to see someone finally take Brooke the truth. Go Thomas. Yes he is going crazy, but someone needed to tell her something, Ridge sure doesnt. I agree to send Shauna and Flo away. Hopefully, Thomas is the kidney donor, wouldnt that just be great…
Liam already has two kids, and does he even spend time with Kelly? Not to say you can’t successfully raise three kids, but Liam is a poor excuse for a man. The only thing Liam can teach Douglas is how to waffle between two women; Lope should not get custody, in my opinion.
