Meanwhile, Brooke’s latest idea has Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and her not yet again husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), adopting Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) after Thomas voluntarily walks away from all legal rights he has to raise his son. That, along with the building Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) factor, will almost certainly create the drama Steffy is predicting.

He has his moments where clarity appears. That happened when Thomas was talking with Hope at the cabin.
She seemed to be getting through to her annulled husband, as Thomas appeared on the verge of agreeing to sign the legal documents Brooke paid for. Hope was encouraging Thomas to relinquish his parental rights because doing so would fulfill his month’s-old promise to have Hope become Douglas’ mother.

Then his mind slid off-track, but not nearly as far as Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) car did when he was intentionally tailgating her on Mulholland Drive. Viewers and Ridge know that part of Thomas’ recent backstory means that he’s unbalanced and also hasn’t faced needed justice.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Forrester’s Forceful Push
There’s no doubt that Brooke’s intentions are warm-hearted. Her idea that Hope and Liam should adopt Douglas makes sense. But the marital issues she’s facing can’t be separated from the approach Brooke is taking.
Thomas has it in for the Logan family, following his fall off the cliff, though he’s still clearly and strongly fond of Hope. Brooke’s forceful push, which includes legal paperwork, naturally is creating a response from Douglas’ father.
What comes next will include a number of other Forrester and Logan family members.

Far from a Thomas-Hope matter, the issues that have recently been developing compel members of the Forrester and Logan families to express clan loyalty. Ridge will continue to defend his son and his grandson. Brooke will stand by her daughter and granddaughter.
There is no easy answer available that will suddenly allow all involved to reach a peace accord. Instead, daytime drama will persist in this fictional version of Los Angeles, California.
