Using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) as his latest target, Thomas’s intent is to create a dynamic where Hope feels compelled to remarry him. However, he’s not reached that plot point yet.
Zoe was overwhelmed by the incredible gesture Thomas made, that being the birthday party he threw for her at Forrester Creations. But that event was quickly followed by a surprise marriage proposal as the relationship, if it can even be called that, could still be counted in weeks instead of months. What Zoe thinks is love appears to be infatuation on her end, with Thomas not caring about definitions.

As hardcore fans recall, Zoe just happened to be in the hallway outside of Vincent Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) apartment when Thomas was hiding out there last year. B&B fans still don’t know if Zoe’s story was true, or she purposely put herself in that position.
It appears as though Barnes’ character was telling the truth, in that she was briefly staying with a friend after being fired by Forrester Creations following her involvement in the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) coverup scheme. With whatever is true, Thomas clearly thought that Zoe was down on her luck and could be exploited. So, he decided to make her believe that she’s his new girlfriend and now, next wife.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Acts As Authority Figure
The sight of Hope bursting into Thomas’ room while he was with Zoe looked like a mother scolding her high school son. In reality, it was another orchestrated incident where Thomas knew Hope was within earshot.
Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) room is aside from Thomas’ in the Forrester mansion, as viewers came to hear. Hope was with Douglas when Thomas became purposely loud with Zoe, which caused the verbal confrontation.
Hope couldn’t believe that Thomas would be so callous as to disregard his own son’s feelings. He was, which again made Hope wonder what type of game Thomas was playing.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Responds To Changes
Viewers know that Thomas’s plans haven’t worked as expected. The initial ‘Thope’ marriage failed within days. His efforts to get back together with her have taken a detour, with Zoe being used as a weapon against Hope and Douglas.
However, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) remained fully concerned for Hope’s well-being because Thomas is ever-resilient. But Zoe’s anticipated response, when eventually realizing that she’s been exploited, could prove to be a threat to Thomas’ advancing endgame.
