No one expected Thomas to lie to protect Brooke. B&B spoilers state that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have many questions as to why his son lied to protect the woman who shoved him off the cliff.
And, Ridge let his wife Brooke know that he knows what she did. He is thankful that Thomas protected her from any legal trouble, but he saw what she did to his son. And, he is starting to wonder if she did it on purpose.

The revelation crushed Brooke. And, as soon as she knew her legal trouble was over, she told Ridge that she hopes that Thomas pays dearly for what he did to her daughter. Ridge cannot believe his ears. In his mind, Thomas paid the price of his actions by nearly dying. However, Brooke says it’s not enough.
B&B Spoilers – What Is Thomas Forrester’ Motive?
The real question in this is what is Thomas’ motive? We all know that he has one. It’s possible that he is truly sorry for what he did. But he is a manipulative man and he has a master plan.
B&B spoilers suggest that he will make a play for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). They are still legally married, and he will do everything in his power to stay married. All he needs, in Thomas’ opinion, is some alone time with Hope. That way she won’t have Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) or her mother to protect her.
