Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Gains Ability To Manipulate Brooke’s Sobriety

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) recently gained dangerous knowledge. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) told him that she put liquor in Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) juice bottle in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mansion.

Thomas’ immediate response was rather surprising. Rather than cheer, he admonished his step-grandmother as wrong. He said that she’d gone too far, which Quinn couldn’t believe.

Despite the above, B&B fans knew that Thomas simply stored this intel away for potential further use. Whether he opts to exploit it himself, or to encourage, or coerce Quinn to further her efforts remains to be seen.

Brooke has been campaigning to open Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) eyes to his son’s true agenda for many months. She hasn’t been successful, which ties directly into her own personal fall.

Thomas has directly threatened Brooke in the recent past. He’s made no bones about wanting her cut from his father’s life and removed from the family business. Except for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), he’s also expressed interest in seeing all other Logan’s ousted from FC as well.

Eric is worried about Brooke’s history with the bottle. He implored his wife to give Brooke a break before Quinn opted to spike Brooke’s juice.

Ridge was very upset when Brooke told him that she’d been having urges to drink again. He, like his dad, know what a rejection of her long-running sobriety would mean.

Hope isn’t an initial part of the loop, with Brooke keeping this information from her daughter. She doesn’t want Hope’s focus to be blurred, especially considering that the ongoing threat from Thomas persists. But any fall off the wagon, or push in this case, as initiated by Quinn, is bound to involve a strong response from all of Brooke’s loved ones.

Thomas is amoral. He has done many terrible things to further his own selfish goals. Using Douglas as an emotional weapon would be the most heinous of his actions, but B&B fans know that tailgating Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) off Mulholland Drive and then not seeking to help her afterwards are the worst actions he’s taken.

Quinn crossed the morality line in giving Brooke alcohol. Sure, Thomas reacted with admonishment. But there’s no doubt that he will use this opening to his advantage if he thinks doing so will permanently split Brooke from Ridge.

Thomas wants to eliminate his unwanted step-mother from the game he’s playing, not just neutralize her. Using alcohol as a weapon just might help him win this battle, unless someone can prevent that from happening.
