The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease there will be a tug-of-war between Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) mother figure feels confident she will win custody. However, if Thomas gets to keep his son, then Hope might feel like she is losing a child all over again. How could the character react to the news?
Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester’s Mother Figure
The death of Douglas’ biological mother left him with only one parent — his father, Thomas. However, he hasn’t been the best role model. He has also gone to extremes in his schemes, which sometimes led to manipulation and intimidating tactics being used on the young boy.
B&B spoilers suggest that Thomas convinced his son to use emotional manipulation on Hope. The goal was for the young woman to become part of the family. It was accomplished by the child telling Hope that he wanted her to be his mommy.
It seems that while this was unfair to put on Douglas’ shoulders, it led to him sharing a close bond with Hope. He considers to a mother figure, which has balanced out well considering Thomas’ failed moments as a father.
B&B Spoilers: ‘Lope’ Logic
To Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Douglas living with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan would be ideal. The Logan mother/daughter duo intend to make the little boy a part of the “Lope” family. In their minds, they would be protecting Douglas from his father’s unpredictability and scandalous schemes.

B&B spoilers suggest that it is possible that Liam and Hope won’t get custody of Douglas. It might be determined that the child should remain with his father. If this happens, don’t expect Thomas to be forgiving about the Logans’ sneaky scheme to dissolve his parental rights.
Thomas is a vengeful character and doesn’t take kindly to being blindsided, manipulated, misled or ended up the victim of a traitor. Brooke, Liam and Hope have initiated a war by going after Douglas. If Thomas wins and retains custody, then he will probably forbid them from having any further contact with the youngster.

B&B Spoilers: Hope Logan’s Loss
Not getting custody would be disappointing for Hope. However, if Thomas takes his revenge a step further and cuts off contact, this would be devastating to the young woman. It would be like losing a child all over again,
As for how she would react, she could slip into a depression. The other possibility is that she will not tolerate more cruelty from Thomas. She could decide to retaliate and show the villian that there is nothing more dangerous than a mother’s misery over losing a little one.

I don’t like Hope and can’t stand Thomas but, poor little whiney Hope has no blood relation with Douglas so why did she think she could get custody. Because she’s a Logan? Ha Ha And she didn’t even discuss it with Douglas. I wish Liam could get custody of Beth and Brook and Hope suffer losses.
I find it interesting about how you state Hope Logan’s loss about Douglas. Steffy had suffered a loss as well when Brooke, Hope, and Liam left with Beth. It will be interesting to see if posters are more sympathetic towards Hope’s loss than Steffy’s. (Foolish question, I know). Each one suffered a loss in a different way. Steffy handled her loss about Beth with grace; we’ll see how Hope reacts when she doesn’t get Douglas the first time around.

And I am also tired how they are trying to make hown nice Steffy is and tired of every one putty Hope down.After all she was the one who had her baby stolen from her
Steffy didn’t think her child died, yes she suffered loss but a stillbirth is so much worse and Beth is alive and well Steffy will always have knowledge of that whilst Hope for so long thought she’d lost another child.
Hope is a manipulative bitch who is using Douglas to punish Thomas for keeping Beth a secret!
I have no compassion for this selfish scheming slut! Hope is the one who put her self in this situation. She should have never annulled her marriage to Liam and married Thomas! And now she expects Thomas to give up his only child!

Hope really cares for Douglas and she has a bond with him. Thomas only used him for his own twisted purposes. I hope that it is revealed that Ridge is Douglas father.
Why is it that Steffy is not stepping up to raise Douglas? until this situation with Thomas is better or until the paternity shows that Ridge is his father.

The Steffy lovers do not see anything wrong with how she manipulated situations and caused hurt for others. I’m so sick of the way they talk about Hope and the other Logans. Steffy is just as a manipulative bitch as anyone else. Steffy day is coming and I hope that it is soon. Hurry up and reveal that Bill is Kelly’s father.
Hope acts as if she’s had Douglas for years. Douglas was thrilled to be back with his Dad and didn’t show any signs of fear. Brooke & Hope needs to concentrate on making a happy life with Beth and leave Douglas alone.
