They can be thankful that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) co-heads Forrester Creations with her father because the family business can’t be left unattended. Fashion is a cutthroat world, as devoted viewers who’ve been watching the classic episodes have been reminded of and newer viewers have learned.

Later this summer, when new episodes will hopefully be seen, Steffy will need her father’s full focus. If he continues to be distracted by Bridge issues, then Eric will hopefully have a clear head so he can help his granddaughter.

Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) works at FC, but her expertise is in the jewelry area. Steffy’s probably would never call on her step-grandmother to help in any regard.

As of the moment Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is off somewhere, likely plotting his return. In the recent past he imagined himself as the head of FC, with Steffy being his underling.

No one can discount the possibility that Thomas comes out of the shadows and takes advantage of the power vacuum, while his dad and grandfather attempting to resolve their marital issues.

Thomas believes running FC is his destiny. So, there’s every reason to believe that he’ll pursue that course, even though it would surely lead to some form of disaster that he won’t foresee.

Atkinson’s character has alienated himself from Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), who actually cared. And, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will not allow Thomas to reclaim any personal proximity going forward.

With no romantic games to play, Thomas seems inclined to shift his obsessive behavior toward the seizure of the family business. He’s glib, has played off his family’s compassion in the past, and is capable of convincing Steffy to allow him to help her as part of some proclaimed redemption plan. And with that slight opening, trouble between these siblings would start.
