Although the villain is off the canvas right now, actor Matthew Atkinson is still on the CBS soap. He will eventually return, but nobody knows what kind of man will show up on the screen. Will he be the same obsessed young man? Will he be even worse and focused on revenge? Or could he actually come back completely cured of his disturbing fantasies and devious manipulation tactics?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that there is a chance that treatment could actually help Thomas. He obviously has a lot of issues and some of them have been there since childhood. He will probably come back diagnosed with some mental health condition that explains his behavior.
B&B Spoilers – Who Will Be the New Bad Guy (or Girl)?
Soap villains are redeemed all the time. Sometimes, they are given a mental illness storyline to explain their actions. Other times, they go through something traumatic that changes them for the better. Then, there are the characters that do a complete 180 by the powerful force of love.

If Thomas does come back a decent human being, then there will need to be another villain to stir up trouble. Right now, it looks like Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) is reverting back to her bad-girl ways. Of course, we could end up with a shock if a normally good character suddenly turns bad. We will just have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us.
Would you like Thomas to return a good guy or is he just too good at playing a villain? If he does come back cured, then who will be the next B&B baddie?

Yes It would be nice to see him stop with all his craziness.
Sure he can change. He’ll eventually go back to being the good Thomas.
He has to want to change and work hard to do so. If his behavior is motivated by a mental illness or personality disorder it will not work for him to try to change even if he tries.
So sad what they have done to Sally’s character.
I think he will come back better – at hiding what he is but still the same or worse Thomas.
