While Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has always had a deep disdain for Ridge Forrester, no one would argue that he feels intimidated whenever Thorne Forrester is in the room. Should Thorne and Katie get back together again, Bill would explode with jealousy.

Let’s face it: when it comes to Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan, that is a cycle of continuous breakups and makeups that no one will ever break. While Shauna Fulton is certainly trying to make her mark with Ridge Forrester, she might find Thorne to be more of a catch, seeing how he’s just as handsome and successful as his brother, but less attached. Seeing Shauna and Thorne together might also make Brooke Logan green with envy.

Up until this point, there really hasn’t been another male character in this fictional town of Los Angeles who has been able to put the deranged and dangerous Thomas Forrester in his place. Ridge Forrester will always have a soft spot (along with plenty of baggage and guilt) for his son while Bill Spencer hasn’t done much to step up to the plate to defend Liam against this wayward Forrester son. Thorne might be the only person capable and even man enough to stop Thomas in his path of continuous destruction.
I’d be happy the have the character of Thorne back, but the role would need a different actor, Ingo Rademacher wasn’t a good fit as Thorne Forrester.

I haven’t been watching long enough to miss him – I have seen him in different incarnations when I have looked up old episodes and watched them, I saw Ingo on a Thanksgiving episode last fall but like him better as Jax on GH.
I certainly do not miss Thorne!! Matter of fact, I can’t stand him. Not sure I’ve heard of any mention of viewers wanting him back! I sure don’t see him as a match for Shauna!!

Not really. The way he left Katie was mean. I realize again that it’s the writers that make and break these actors. Just look what they have done to Sally. It’s just ridiculous. I feel so bad for Sally. They have made her into a devil and she’s not. I’m glad it’s off the air right now.
