“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Wednesday, February 13, tease that Katie Forrester (Heather Tom) will happily prepare for Valentine’s Day. She’ll have big plans for a special evening with Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher), but he’s about to drop a bomb that changes everything. B&B fans certainly won’t want to miss this shocker!

Valentine’s Day is supposed to be romantic, not heartbreaking. Unfortunately, Katie will only face the latter as Thorne delivers a massive blow to their relationship. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Thorne will want to split up, so it looks like he’ll hand over divorce papers. Katie will be stunned by her husband’s out-of-the-blue decision. She just won’t understand why Thorne’s doing this.

Katie will point out that she loves Thorne and intended to build a life with him. Will Spencer (Finnegan George) has come to love Thorne as part of their family, too. Katie won’t get why Thorne would throw it all away in an instant, but he’ll promise his motives aren’t selfish.

Thorne will contend that he’s just trying to put Will and Katie first. He won’t think he can give them exactly what they need or want. Katie will still have a hard time wrapping her head around it, but Thorne may make himself crystal clear. He can see the bond Katie still shares with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Thorne may feel like Katie, Bill and Will still have a chance to be a united family.

Part of Katie may crave that deep down, but it’ll be tough to look past her sorrow for now. While Katie deals with devastation, Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will be pushed to her limit. When Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) returns to grill her once more, Flo will make a major confession.
