Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) remains very protective of Brooke, who is one of his former wives. While he’s fully reconciled with Brooke’s sister, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), Bill isn’t shy about backing Lang’s character in this potentially growing ‘Bridge’ battle.
Brooke and Ridge are at odds, but not because of what Thomas did to Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle). Instead, one of B&B’s power couples is disagreeing about what happened to Thomas at the cliff house.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Caroline Specer’s Memory Still In Mind
Let’s take some steps back to the memorable scenes where the audience learned Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) death was announced earlier this year. Bill played a pivotal role in that episode, as he took a call that provided the news.
Bill’s connection to Thomas is complex, as are many of Diamont’s often devious links to B&B’s players. As devoted fans recall, Bill convinced Caroline to tell Thomas (as then played by Pierson Fode) that she was afflicted with a terminal illness, which didn’t actually exist.

Caroline did so and then later reversed course, but she didn’t forgive her uncle Bill for the suggestion. His intent was to force Thomas out of town for a split business and personal purpose. Thomas’ return from New York earlier this year, with their son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), happened because Caroline actually did die.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Bill Spencer Is Angered By Hidden Agenda
Thomas is Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) son, which makes him Bill’s nemesis by default. So, it’s not surprising that the old Dollar Bill persona comes out when Diamont’s character talks with Thomas at the hospital.
Bill pulls no punches, telling Thomas that he holds him to account for all that’s happened. The effort combines with Bill’s full defense of Brooke, who is fearful of the legal repercussions she could face. That, along with Ridge’s steely response since Thomas’ accident, makes her naturally uncertain about ‘Bridge’s’ immediate future.

Brooke is trying to cut Ridge slack, because of the series of events that involve Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas. However, she’s not going to admit to having tried to kill Thomas, by pushing him over the cliff, when that’s not what she intended, or did.
Bill’s defense of Brooke establishes another round of conflict between the men who’ve battled for this lady’s hand, or just her attention, in the past. Ridge can’t see clearly, due to all that’s happened, which signals that he and Bill are being primed for another daytime confrontation.
