B&B spoilers from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal Carter has a lot of respect and admiration for Zoe. He understands that she is doing everything she can to gain acceptance and approval after her role in the “Phoebeth” scandal. She wants forgiveness and does whatever it takes to get it. She also takes responsibility for her actions, which speaks volumes to Carter.

Actor Lawrence Saint-Victor explained that Carter loves second chance stories. This is one of the factors that is making him really sit and take notice of Zoe. He respects that she is in a relationship with Thomas, but that doesn’t stop him from telling her that she is beautiful. He also quizzes her on the validity of her romance with the villain.
“Carter loves second chances and people who fight for their own self-worth. That’s a trait he deeply admires. Carter sees that Zoe wants to do everything in her power to be accepted and be forgiven.”

Fans already know that Thomas likes Zoe, but isn’t in love with her like he is with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). In fact, it is all a game so he can make Hope his own. Eventually, Zoe won’t be able to keep her blinders on any longer.
