Denise Richards Dishes On Daughters Becoming ‘Bold And Beautiful’ Actors!

Denise Richards, known for “The Bold And The Beautiful,” cherishes her varied acting career. In addition to portraying Shauna Fulton on The Bold and the Beautiful, Richards starred on “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH). Famed as a Bond Giirl in “The World is Not Enough,” Denise also starred on TV shows such as “Jane The Virgin.“

However, through it all, Richards also focuses on motherhood. And the mother of three daughters recently dished on her daughters becoming actresses like their mom. Denise Richards Talks Acting And Motherhood

One reason that RHOBH fans adored Denise Richards: Her daughters! And the “Bold And The Beautiful” star never hesitates to share her pride in motherhood. But does Denise want any of them to follow her acting footsteps? Richards gave the answer to Hollywood Life.

And the actress revealed that she stands behind whatever daughters Sami, 18; Lola, 17; and Eloise, 11, desire. “I think I want them to do what they want to do,” summed up Denise about her three daughters. “I’m never going to say, ‘Oh, you want to be an actor. Maybe go look into something else.'” As a result of her own experience, Richards “would not have wanted my parents to say that to me.” However, Denise occasionally clashes with her ex Charlie Sheen over co-parenting their daughter Sami.

Because Denise has enjoyed her own acting career, she will even encourage her girls. “So, if any of our children want to pursue something in acting or performing or whatever, I would support them,” added Richards. However, Denise revealed that only one of her daughters has shown interest in acting. But another does want to enter the entertainment field. “[One daughter] prefers being on the other side of the camera,” noted Richards. And that daughter has shown interest “in directing and photography.” In addition, Richards supports “another daughter interested in acting.”

However, for now, Denise stays focused on her acting career as well as parenting her daughters. For instance, Richards feels excited about her new “Love Accidentally” movie role. In it, Denise portrays the managers of two characters. Alexa (Brenda Song) and Jason (Aaron O’Connell) vie for the same promotion. As a result, the two experience a “love/hate relationship and a competitiveness with one another,” added Richards.

“And what I love about the story is that they’re able to really form a relationship over text, without any preconceived idea of who they are, and without any judgment. It’s just truly, them going back and forth, virtually. I think it’s a wonderful story,” she explained. Looking ahead, Denise hopes that beyond this film, she will continue to find a variety of acting opportunities.

“I don’t know what the secret is,” admitted the RHOBH alum. “But I have to say that I am so beyond grateful that I have had the career that I’ve had and that I continue to work. I really, truly am very humbled by that. My advice to anyone is just to continue following your passion and your dreams. You’re going to get a lot of ‘No’s, and that’s okay.”

As a result of her fame, Denise has received her own share of negative comments on social media. And she has learned how to handle it. Richards admitted that getting trolled does make her life challenging. 

And though it feels “hard” to see a backlash, Denise deals with it. Whenever she sees “negative stuff on social media,” Richards puts on blinders. “But just block out the noise.
