Eric Forrester Plots Ultimate Betrayal On The Bold And The Beautiful

It has been decades since The Bold and the Beautiful viewers saw the “other side” of Eric Forrester, but the patriarch is set to shock us in the new year. 

John McCook’s character has become a bit of a geriatric teddy bear over the years.  His son Ridge and the rest of the Forresters seem to have forgotten what he is really capable of.  Here’s what’s coming up next week on Bold & Beautiful, spoilers down below!

One Door Closes And Another One Opens For Eric

Eric Forrester was planning an epic fashion comeback in 2026, it was revealed that the patriarch was working on new secret designs before Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) put him out to pasture.

Ironically, Ridge is going to need all the help he can get battling the new fashion house on the block and he will probably end up regretting his decision. 

Those designs that Ridge sent packing with his dad could end up making or breaking Forrester Creations down the line.

As Eric Forrester ages, there seems to be a recurring theme with the character on B&B.  Ridge’s father desperately wants to WORK, and continue building his legacy is the fashion world. 

Just a few years ago, Eric challenged his son to a fashion showdown to prove that he was the best Forrester designer.  Ridge’s aging father wants some recognition and respect, and Katie Spencer is willing to give it to him.

Eric Gets In Bed With Ridge’s Competition

Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) think that Katie Spencer’s (Heather Tom) new company will never get off the ground or be any competition to them.  Bridge is making it nearly impossible for Dollar Bill’s wife to even name her new company. 

If Katie is able to get Eric Forrester’s designs at her new fashion house it could be a game-changer in her war against FC.  Brooke and Ridge won’t know who hit them when the designs drop!

Eric Forrester LOVES his family’s company.  If he betrays his son and works with Katie, it most likely won’t be out of spite. 

He would never want to help destroy the company he created.  But if Katie Spencer will let him keep working, he may get in bed with the Spencer’s just to prove to his son that he’s “still got it.”
