Kim captioned her pic, “we made a mirror glaze cake! 🌅And we used agar agar instead of gelatin 💁🏼‍♀‍ #vegetarianrecipes.”

A mirror glaze is what it sounds like, a glossy finish that you can almost see yourself in. Kim’s cake is a delightful mix of orange swirls and on the inside is a white cake that looks scrumptious.

Of course, Kim’s fans couldn’t wait to congratulate her on her cooking success.

Many fans wanted to know what a mirror glaze is, but all rewarded her efforts with compliments. One fan wrote, “Truly thought the outside was a fruit roll up 😂 looks so good! hat is totally cool!! WOW 🤩,” and another commented, “Never heard of it. How do you do it? PS I love baking bread, pies, and bread.”

Kim Matula decided to leave B&B in 2014 and the role was eventually recast with Annika Noelle. At the time Kim posted this message to fans: “What can I say about today? I can officially confirm that I filmed my last scenes at ‘The Bold and The Beautiful. It was a day full of love and laughter and reminiscing about the past 5 years. I made the incredibly difficult decision not to resign my contract so that I could spread my wings as an actor and see what this big beautiful world has to offer.

But I can never put into words just how amazing and inspiring this show has been. What a huge part of my life. I do not see this as a ‘goodbye’ but more of a “see you later.” Thank you for giving me an unforgettable 5 years as Hope Logan and thank you to every single viewer who sat side by side with me on this journey. Cheers to the next adventure!!”
