The Bold and the Beautiful fans were thrilled when it was revealed that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was on his way back to Los Angeles, shortly after his exit.
But, Thomas’ big return didn’t go down how anyone envisioned it, and he’s already jetted back to Europe. Is Matthew Atkinson gone for good? Keep reading to find out, here’s what’s happening on Bold and the Beautiful.
When Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings teased Thomas Forrester was returning, most of us thought that meant for more than three episodes.
Thomas Forrester’s B&B Return Already Over?
Thomas basically bounced back in to town, announced he was marrying Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), taunted Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), and then left just as quickly as he arrived.
Although, he did stick around long enough for his family to throw him an official Forrester Mansion engagement party.
Matthew Atkinson’s big return is starting to feel like that time fans thought Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) was coming back to The Bold and the Beautiful. In her defense, Ivy Forrester made things interesting for the whopping 32 hours she was in town.
The Bold and the Beautiful cast and crew have been pretty mum on Thomas Forrester’s status on the daytime drama.
Hope Logan is currently on the prowl and lusting after Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) husband.
B&B Spoilers: The End OF Thomas And Hope
There are still some dedicated Hope and Thomas shippers out there that are confident the Forrester Heir will dump Paris Buckingham and come home.
If that is the B&B writers’ plans, it certainly won’t be any time in the near future.
According to B&B spoilers, the daytime drama will focus on their summer serial killer mystery for the next couple months.
While Steffy is distracted trying to put Sheila behind bars, Hope and Finn will continue to spend time together.

I am still hoping MA will be back and we will get Thope back again!
The show is boring without them and putting Hope with Finn is an insult to viewers as we know Hope wanted a 1-woman-man, not a man married to Steffy!
Maybe the writers want the show to be cancelled as it’s losing viewers from week to week without Thope!
At first I wanted the person who plays Thomas forester to go now I want to him to stay with hope. Finn may need another lady and not steffy. The characters should not be interchangeable. But this is soap opera world. Put Katie back with bill. Enough said!
Bring him back to Hope!! They were fantastic together!!!
I loved Thope…. Bring Thomas back. BUT Steffy needs bróught down a few pegs so if Finn and Hope become an item I say good for them!! Steffy is portrayed as too arrogant, too demanding and worse.
Thoroughly agree ! No Thope, no B& B. Do the writers really think that we care who killed 2 characters that we barely knew !!! Finn and Hope have zero chemistry. Even the actors look uncomfortable with each other.
I’ve heard from a friend of mine at the CBSTV studio where B&B is filmed that MA who plays Thomas Forrester will be back asap and I believe that Thomas and Hope will get back together and reunite as a couple and accept Thomas proposal and DW who.played the social climbing opportunist Paris has officially quit acting to pursue a music career and has a new album coming out.
Yay!!
MA isn’t going anywhere he has a year on his contract till 2025.

Bold and the beautiful will be boring without hope and Thomas’s reuniting, I would hope and pray that the writers will have sense enough to bring him back.
I still think they should sell Hope for the Future to one of their European fashion houses who want Hope as their consultant and make Hope quite a fashion icon much to Steffys dismay.
An older but definitely sexy designer is fascinated by Hope.
That is an awesome storyline! But please don’t let Annika go. They would need to bring the European buyer to LA or follow Hope to Europe.
Hope didn’t want anything to do with Liam because he’s always going to love Steffy and she wants a man who will love only her so it makes no sense that she is now falling for another guy who is in love with Steffy. Steffy will always be in Finn’s life since they share a child. Is Hope completely crazy or what? I hate that this show is now turning her into a slut like her mother.
Please please bring Matthew back. Even if you don’t put him with dopey and it makes no sense why you wouldn’t we are loyal fans and miss him…
Story lines are boring
I could care less . It made me sick when Thomas brought back another woman and hurt Hope . I stopped watching Im now watching Turkist soaps they are not as depressing.
I would love to see ma and Pierce Buckingham make her go of it. And I like that Hope’s not Miss goody two shoes any longer Brooke being a s*** all those years is what kept The bold and the beautiful interesting! And so I like the changes in Hope
I am so sick of the B&B writers and how they are portraying hope ! They his is absolutely an insult to Hopes character and beliefs and us LONG TOME FANS OF THOPE!!
Steffy needs knocked down and in what dam world does a civilian call the shots on who to arrest and take in , I mean REALLY B&B. ? Steffy needs to relapse, not bc of Finn and hope but bc Sheila is not the murderer and bc Finn accepts Sheila and gives her a chance despite what steffy says .ket her take off in a car have an accident and she accidentally be given pain meds which sets off a relapse . Unite THOPE!
I believe poppy and LI are behind the murders, it’s done to set Sheila up and li is protecting Finn bc she believes he’s lunas father not bills.
Bill knows and that is why he wants to ADOPT Luna , so it’s legal and acknowledged.
Bring ivy back or someone new for Liam . Carter needs a woman of his own this poor man has suffered enough already lol ughhh
Thomas & Hope are so hot together. They keep it interesting. Always something new with. They have a love for each other that is real. Thomas just needs too give her a more time.
Matthew Atkinson’s presence on screen is such a joy to watch and I’m anticipating his return. His scenes are executed with such professionalism. I can’t wait until he’s back on the canvas.
What is going on with my show B&B? Matthew Atkinson has been incognito and I pray he is coming back. Hope and Thomas’s chemistry is absolutely amazing. Anyway, Wherever he is I pray and hope he and his wife are doing well. May God bless you and congratulations!
I love this Actor and his character. I haven’t watched lately. It’s sooooo boring with Luna and Poppy. I hope he returns. I want him and Hope together.
