Bold and the Beautiful Recap Friday November 22: Hope Blasts Thomas, Ridge Surprises Shauna

On the Friday, November 22, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) realizes that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is truly alive. She’s not dreaming or seeing things, but she can’t understand how he survived the fall into hydrofluoric acid. He is shocked and thrilled that Hope is relieved he’s alive. Her worst fear was that she had killed him. She couldn’t tell anyone but her mother about the accident because she was in shock. She regrets overreacting to his romantic overtures and pushing him.

Thomas apologizes to Hope for arguing with her and chasing after her when she was only trying to defend Douglas. He explains that the acid had been replaced with a cleaning solution by the time Thomas fell into it. He’s still raw from the solution but he’s grateful to be alive and looking at the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen.

Hope blasts Thomas for letting her believe he was dead, even though he had escaped the vat alive. How could he be so cruel and make her sick with worry? Thomas says that he stayed away because he wanted to make a point: even good people keep secrets. He wanted her to understand what he went through when he kept the secret about her daughter. Thomas is sorry for traumatizing Hope. Everything that he has done has been to give Douglas a mother and to show Hope how much he loves her.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) texts her husband. She needs to speak to him about Thomas. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) doesn’t get the message because Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) pays a visit. Ridge confides to Shauna that he fears he’s lost his son. He is still baffled by Hope’s statement that Thomas is dead. He’s frustrated that he can’t find a compromise with Brooke.

Brooke and Hope won’t budge when it comes to forgiving his son. They won’t stop until they take Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) away from Thomas. Ridge surprises Shauna with the news that Thomas signed the papers and Hope now has legal custody of Douglas. Shauna flirts with Ridge to keep his mind off his worries about Thomas.

Brooke paces the floor, troubled by Hope’s confession to pushing Thomas into the vat of acid. Brooke decides that she has to tell Ridge the truth about what happened to his son. She calls Ridge to tell him she’ll be over soon. She has news about Thomas.
