Sean Kanan Fires Back Over Call for ‘B&B’ Cancellation, Rushes to CBS Show’s Defense

Sean Kanan Fires Back Over Call for B&B’s Cancellation, Rushes to Show’s DefenseThe Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) decided to fire back over an online call for B&B’s cancellation.

Kanan rushed to the show’s defense on social media and explained why it’s harmful to demand that the show be taken off the air.

When it comes to what the CBS soap has to offer, everyone has a right to push for improvements. It’s fine to share constructive criticism and speak out if you want to see better storylines or different characters highlighted.

However, there’s no need to get nasty about it and call for the whole thing to be canceled! That would ruin the fun for the rest of us who actually want to keep watching the show each day.

Furthermore, there’s a giant team of people who’d be out of work if B&B was shut down. That’s something Sean Kanan felt the need to mention when he saw one fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) insisting cancellation was the way to go.

“You are certainly entitled to your opinion about the writing and direction of the show. However when you call for the show to be cancelled you are calling for hundreds of hard working people who consistently do their best to create the very best show possible to lose their jobs. These are people with families who depend upon them. I’m sure that wasn’t your intention but words matter,” Kanan said in a post of his own.

While there were some fans who supported the cancellation idea, many others agreed with Sean Kanan about the comment being uncalled for. It’s rude to get so swept up in the fictional content that you start calling for real people to be unemployed.

Fortunately, B&B is sticking around and will continue to deliver some gripping twists in the coming weeks. Several curveballs are brewing, so viewers will be eager to see where the show takes things next.

How do you feel about social media accounts that insist certain soaps should be canceled? Should they stop whining and let the rest of us tune in for the daytime dramas we want?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s plenty of autumn action ahead, so stay tuned for updates on all the wild news and new story directions to come. Be sure to stop by often for all the hottest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for!

IMO , some viewers are having trouble with the rape of Will story line. I wouldn’t call , I wouldn’t want people to lose their jobs. This story line has viewers thinking that writers are glorifying rape.
In which there is no happy ending for victims.
IMO writers need to get off this story line and move on to more drama.

I saw the comment….does this person think she is the only one watching? Who is she to dictate cancelling? Don’t like the show turn off your freaking TV…. I’m sorry, but it’s such stupidity. People don’t know how to separate reality from reelity

Just a person suggested the show should canceled because of the storylines doesn’t mean that it will actually happen. Just an opinion with no power. The show is known for the repetitive drawn-out storylines which are irritating that’s my opinion. I stop watching – that’s my resolution.

The whole Will/Luna storyline was asinine in my opinion. As polluted as he was due to the extremely high proof alcohol she was giving him, how could he even “perform” after that? Also, it appears she tested positive just a few days after her dalliance with him, when the information says to wait 10-14 days; but better to wait 21 days after a missed period. Finally, seeing her holding her belly and rubbing it is so disgusting to see when she’s not even showing yet. I definitely don’t think the show should be cancelled, but it would be nice if sometimes the writers stuck to more realistic storylines.

B&B is the ONLY soap I watch. It is the only soap I tape. DO NOT CATER to the minority of negative comments. I often comment on my preference of story lines. Do not cancel.

I totally agree with you. I stop watching sometimes. I don’t get upset if I miss an episode or not. The drawn out storylines and repetivness of those storylines can become boring. I think I could be at the point of ending my viewing and then something happens that will keep me watching. I am not, however, dedicated to it so I can take it or leave it.

I have been watching Bold and Beautiful since the show began. The show should not be canceled – it’s the writers that should go – The storylines have really been going down hill.
