The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, October 1, tease that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will try desperately to get through to his son Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). As B&B viewers know, Ridge is planning on going through with a do-over wedding to Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards) at the Forrester mansion – something that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) was quick to orchestrate.

Of course, Quinn’s goals are two-fold – she wants to cement Shauna’s place as Ridge’s wife, and she wants to inflict maximum pain onto Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). While Quinn will be busy planning the nuptials, it looks like Eric will be dismayed by the news, since he’ll know how bad it will hurt Brooke. It’s no secret that Eric is a huge Brooke & Ridge fan.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester Tries To Dissuade Ridge Forrester From Going Through With The Wedding

According to B&B spoilers, Eric will try to talk some sense into Ridge. Eric will surely argue that Ridge is about to make a big mistake and that he needs to really think about the message that the wedding to Shauna is going to send to Brooke. Of course, Ridge will probably again bring up Brooke’s kiss with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), likely arguing that Brooke is the one who “moved on” first.

Ridge may also argue that he and Shauna are already married, so there’s no harm in re-doing the ceremony. Ridge just wants to give Shauna the wedding that she deserves (i.e., a wedding that the groom actually remembers), and he’s already said that he takes his commitment to Shauna seriously.

But since B&B spoilers for later in the week say that Ridge and Shauna’s wedding will at least begin, it doesn’t look like Eric will have any luck with persuading Ridge that he shouldn’t go through with the do-over wedding. B&B spoilers indicate that the wedding will involve some major revelations, so viewers won’t want to miss it!

B&B Spoilers – Carter Walton Receives A Promotion At Forrester Creations

Meanwhile, on Thursday’s new episode of B&B, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will get a nice surprise. It appears that Carter will get a promotion at Forrester Creations! That’s great news for Carter – let’s face it, Carter has been a loyal employee and counsel to the Forresters for years, and it’s about time that he got some recognition.

Perhaps Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will be on hand to celebrate with Carter. Carter could be promoted to General Counsel of Forrester, and if that’s the case, it will be a big promotion. That would put Carter in a position to oversee Forrester Creations’ legal matters and its entire legal staff. It might mean longer hours for Carter, too, which could impact his relationship with Zoe.

That said, Carter seems pretty motivated to keep his relationship with Zoe going, so we doubt that he’ll ever get too busy for her. We’ll see what Carter’s promotion ends up being, but it’s great that he’s finally getting some much-deserved recognition!
