The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Friday, August 13, 2021, opens at the loft where Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) tries to pull away from Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) enticing kisses. She puts her foot down—this time, they have to stop—but neither knows how to break things off. Quinn fears Carter has too much to lose to continue seeing her. Carter is right where he wants to be.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) paces the floor at Forrester Creations, wondering what to do about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Ridge reels from the knowledge that Sheila’s son is married to his daughter. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) says that Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) had no idea who Sheila was and thought the family would be thrilled to meet her. Ridge will make sure Sheila has no place in Hayes Finnegan’s future.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) says these should be the happiest days of Finn and Steffy’s lives, but, instead, they’re worried for their safety. Ridge vows to protect his daughter and grandson at all costs. Ridge calls Carter to obtain a restraining order against Sheila. Eric is concerned about how Sheila will use Finn to work her way back into the family. Their family trusts Carter to protect them.

She says their wedding was beautiful and perfect, like Finn, but they have to face the music and talk about Sheila. The thought of Sheila makes Steffy sick.

B&B Spoilers – Paris Interrupts

Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) apologizes for interrupting the newlyweds. Steffy turns down Paris’ offer to babysit Hayes, because Steffy wants to keep the baby close for a while. Steffy fills in Paris on Sheila’s wicked ways. The bad things that have happened to the Forrester’s are directly related to Finn’s birth mother. Steffy wants to be happy for Finn, but that psychopath has no place in their family. Steffy won’t let Sheila mess with her marriage. Finn promises that he won’t see Sheila again, but is conflicted.

Sheila reads a Fashion Today article about Finn’s wedding. She longs to be a part of his life and her grandson’s. She reminisces about being in the hot tub with her husband, Eric. Sheila calls Finn at work, pretending to be from the lab and manipulates the front desk into giving her his cell phone number. She texts him that she wants to hold Hayes, but she’s leaving town and he’ll never see her again. Finn texts her back a heart and gets Sheila’s hopes up that her son loves her.
