The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers and Recap Friday, August 20: Sheila Blackmails Jack, Qeric Fan the Flames

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Friday, August 20, 2021, opens at the cliff house, where the newlyweds put the kids to bed and enjoy a nightcap. Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) says Kelly Spencer wore him out with a game of tag on the beach and promises to be a future track star. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) says they’ll really be tired out when Hayes Finnegan gets older. Finn disagrees: the kids will have each other to chase around while their parents can watch from a distance. They toast to that and kiss.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Dislikes Sheila

Steffy is happy, but wishes that anyone else was Finn’s birth mother. Finn can only imagine how shocking it was to discover that the woman who terrorized her family is her mother-in-law. Steffy believes Sheila knew how the family would react to her disruption. Finn defends his mother: she didn’t want to interact with the Forresters and just wanted him to know she loved him. Steffy urges him to stay as far away from Sheila as possible, for all their sakes. There will never be room for Sheila in their lives.

Finn says it’s painful knowing he came from someone who caused so much harm. He promises he’ll be fine: not all dreams are supposed to come true.

B&B Spoilers: Sheila Blackmails Jack

Jack Finnegan (Ted King) pays Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) a visit and orders her to leave town immediately. There’s no place for her in his son’s life. Finn is honest and caring and Jack won’t let her take advantage. He asks her to do the right thing for her son.

She claims so much has changed since she gave Finn up. Sheila says it’s not smart to tell her what she can and cannot do. Jack says she’ll have a relationship with Finn over his dead body. Sheila makes a veiled threat and says it needn’t come to that. Sheila believes Jack is panicked because of the effect the lie had on Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). Jack didn’t have the guts to tell the Forresters the real reason he kept quiet about her all these years.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Carter is Morose

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is lost without Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) at the loft. He’s devastated that Quinn went home to her husband.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) says Quinn’s portrait is back where it belongs and so is Quinn. Eric feared too much time had passed and Quinn would turn down his request to come home. He should have known she wanted their marriage to survive as much as he did. Eric raises his martini. They toast to each other and Quinn puts on a smile.

Eric says that being alone inspired him to play more piano. He sings and plays a romantic old love song promising to be there for her always. Quinn puts her head on his shoulder and says she’s happy to be home. Her commitment and devotion to him will never waver again. She knows the perfect way to end a wonderful day and heads up to bed.
