The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers And Recap Thursday, April 8: Hope Tormented By Vinny’s Death, Hope Grows Suspicious

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Thursday, April 8, 2021, reveals in Los Angeles opens at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) where Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continues to relieve his worst nightmare. Liam is tormented by memories of hitting Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) with Bill’s car. Bill returns from disposing of his car and clothes and taking a jog, during which he checked out the route for cameras. There is no video footage of the accident and nothing to tie Liam to Vinny’s death.

Bill says that it’s Liam’s job to stay quiet or face prison. The death will haunt Liam whether or not he’s behind bars, so he should choose to walk free. Bill gets a news brief that there’s been a hit-and-run in Bel Air, an apparent robbery with no leads. Bill says there won’t be any leads, because he took care of it.

The Bold And The Beautiful – Spoilers – Liam Spencer Asks Why

Liam asks why Bill couldn’t have called 911 like a normal human being. Bill refuses to allow Liam to go to prison over an accident. Bill steps in front of his son when he threatens to go to the police. Liam proposes that they tell the police they hit something and thought it was an animal, but didn’t know what it was until they saw the news. Bill says that explanation won’t hold up, because it’s not believable that Liam accidentally hit the man who switched the paternity test results and nearly ruined his life. Liam says that the truth always comes out.

At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) remembers her kiss with Liam. She summons Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) to the office and asks for help. He says that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Kelly Spencer took a trip up the coast. Hope wonders how Finn forgave Steffy. She admires his strength, but she can’t get to the same place with Liam.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Cruel And Hurtful

Finn says that what Liam did was cruel and hurtful, but he forgave Steffy because he loves her and believes her remorse was genuine. It was easier to forgive an isolated incident under unusual circumstances. He and Steffy have a beautiful future to look forward to and he believes Liam and Hope do too. Finn extols the physical and mental benefits of letting go of pain and embracing forgiveness. Finn wishes her luck with Liam and leaves.

Finn pops into the morgue to see a colleague. The coroner unveils the body and Finn realizes that it’s Vinny.

Hope wonders why she hasn’t heard from Liam. She texts him that she’s looking forward to lunch. Liam can’t face Hope. Bill says Liam has to get control of himself before he can see anyone. Liam nearly hyperventilates. Bill needs him to dig deep and find the strength to put the incident behind him and lean on Bill. He won’t let Liam throw his life away. Bill won’t allow him to go to prison.

Hope is disappointed when Liam says he can’t make to lunch with her.
