The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Tuesday, July 20 Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) make the most of their last intimate rendezvous. Every time Quinn tries to head for the door, she ends up in his arms.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is rattled that the magazine article Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arranged lists her as his Co-CEO and not Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Ridge fears that Steffy will get upset that she isn’t acknowledged for all the work she puts in for the company.

Brooke sees an opening to float the idea that she become Ridge’s Co-CEO. Ridge quickly rejects the idea—Steffy isn’t stepping down anytime soon and is doing a great job running the company with her dad. She reminds him of their discussion about her having an increased role in the company. Brooke says they could run the company the way Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) did.

Eric interrupts Brooke and Ridge. Eric wants to track down Carter so he can get going on his divorce proceedings. Ridge suggests that his father videocall Carter and light a fire under him.

Eric jolts Carter when he calls him and the video starts immediately. Quinn jumps out of Eric’s line of sight before he spots her. Eric wonders what’s wrong. Carter covers that he finished a quick workout. Eric wants to discuss the divorce and the jewelry line and put all the ugliness behind him as soon as possible.

B&B Spoilers – Eric Forrester Asks Carter Walton To Step Up

Ridge spots a dress over the back of the couch and wonders if there’s someone there with him. Carter says the dress isn’t his. Eric asks Carter to step up for the family.

When they end the call, Ridge snarks that they know what kind of workout Carter was doing. Brooke wonders about the identity of Carter’s guest.

Quinn reels after hearing her husband’s voice. She feels guilty for threatening Carter’s relationship with the Forresters. Quinn isn’t willing to let Carter take the risk of spending any more time with her. She’s not worth Carter becoming a pariah to the Forresters. Carter is willing to take the risk. Carter says Quinn brought something wonderful and unique into his life at a time when he was heartbroken.

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Paris Buckingham Visits The New Parents

Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) pays a visit to the cliff house where the new parents are starting to feel frazzled. Steffy and Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) are thrilled that she brought them Malibu fish tacos, but they’re running low on sleep. Finn comes to Steffy’s rescue and finds her notes so she can discuss the Forrester Foundation with Paris. Paris says Steffy and Doc sure made a handsome little boy.

Finn says the joy the baby brings makes the sleeplessness and stress all worth it. Steffy is lucky to be doing the parenthood thing with Finn. Steffy says Kelly Spencer is spending time with her dad but is excited to get home for a playdate with her brother.

Paris and Steffy agree that the Foundation will focus more time on drug addiction, with a focus on healthcare and access for the needy. Paris suggests that Finn serve on the Foundation’s advisory committee. Finn sees why Steffy is impressed with Paris. When Hayes Forrester cries and his parents can’t soothe him, Paris offers to try. Paris sings the baby a lullaby and it stops crying, to his parents’ amazement and gratitude. Paris has the magic touch.
