The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers and recap for Wednesday February 3 begins with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) getting a much-anticipated phone call from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy says the hospital put a rush on the paternity test. Her mother’s intuition is that the baby is Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Dovlan).

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) barges in unannounced and overhears Liam telling Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about the test. Thomas says that he doesn’t enjoy their marital disharmony. He’s concerned about Hope and Steffy and the baby. It’s not good for the kids to see Hope upset. Thomas says he’s there for the family if they need anything. Hope is strong and Liam and Hope can make it through this, no matter what the test shows.

At the cliff house, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) blasts Steffy for what she did to Brooke’s daughter. Steffy says she didn’t intend to hurt Hope when she slept with Hope’s husband. Brooke says Steffy will destroy their marriage if the child is Liam’s. She wonders if Steffy still wants Liam for herself. After all, she could have encouraged Liam to talk to Hope or spend the night at his family’s or a hotel. Instead, Steffy chose to be a friend with benefits.

The Bold And The Beautiful – Steffy Forrester Expected More Understanding

Steffy expected more understanding from Brooke given her sordid past. Steffy asks Brooke not to tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about the baby until she can tell him the truth. Brooke agrees. Steffy says that she’ll do anything to keep the stress at bay for the sake of the baby. Brooke says she’ll leave Steffy alone, but Steffy isn’t off the hook for the reprehensible things she did to Hope.

At Forrester Creations, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) watches Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) at work and notices his intensity. Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is on his mind. He worries that Zoe and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) have hit the skids. Zoe appears fully committed to Carter. Paris wonders if it’s enough for Carter. Zende says Paris deserves better and he wants to prove what better can be.

Carter demands the truth from Zoe: is he the man she wants to marry or is it Zende? Carter heard Ridge’s claim that Zoe told Zende they should give in to their feelings for each other. Carter wants to know what’s been going on behind his back. He tries to understand how she could throw herself at Zende while she’s engaged to Carter.

B&B Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham’s Promise

Zoe promises that nothing is going on between her and Zende. Carter realizes that Zoe’s interest in him grew when he was promoted. She’s only with him because he’s Forrester-adjacent. She would have dropped him for a real Forrester if she had the chance, just like she jumped at the chance to walk down the aisle with Thomas. Carter was planning a wedding, while she was throwing herself at Zende. If she wants Zende, she can have him. Carter calls off the engagement. Carter and Zoe are done.

Zoe vows to convince him that they still have a chance. She got scared when they moved so fast on the wedding. Her flirtation with Zende is over. She wants a life with Carter and only Carter.

Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) pays Thomas a visit at Ridge and Brooke’s place. Vinny apologizes for not being a better friend. He offers Thomas prescription pain relief. Thomas refuses after what he saw his sister go through.

Thomas reveals to his friend that Steffy is pregnant. Vinny marvels at how fast that doctor works. Thomas says the baby might be Liam’s, which means that Steffy could reunite Kelly Spencer’s family. Vinny floats the idea that Hope could finally be Thomas’ if the baby belongs to Liam.

Hope tells Liam that Thomas isn’t trying to undermine their marriage. Liam wonders if Thomas is being sincere. Liam says that the only opinion and forgiveness he cares about is his wife’s. He promises to regain her trust and prove how much she means to him. He’ll always love her. Hope prays the baby is Finn’s.
