Brooke defends Ridge. She’s angry at herself, not Ridge. Brooke won’t risk alienating Ridge by spending time with Deacon. Hope is confused when Brooke backpedals and says she can’t have Deacon or his influence in her life.

B&B spoilers – Taylor Senses Sheila’s Resentment

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) surprises Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) again in her office. Sheila showers Taylor with compliments. Sheila is blown away that Taylor would extend her kindness and forgiveness to Sheila.

Sheila grumbles that Taylor’s nemesis, Brooke, never would have given Sheila a second chance. Taylor says Brooke isn’t her nemesis and senses Sheila’s resentment. Sheila admits she resents Brooke’s vicious attitude and disregard for the work Sheila has done on herself. Brooke throws her apologies back in Sheila’s face. Sheila wants to prove that her priorities have changed and make a better life for herself.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Tries to Bond with Taylor Over a Mutual Nemesis

Sheila gets nosy about Ridge and Taylor’s New Year’s Eve. When Taylor says Ridge didn’t make it home by midnight, Sheila laughs that it must have put a damper on Brooke’s celebration. Sheila snarks that Brooke can’t do anything without a man next to her.

Sheila confesses she was lonely and depressed on New Year’s without somewhere to go or someone to kiss. While Taylor takes a call, Sheila daydreams about switching Brooke’s non-alcoholic champagne.

B&B spoilers – Ridge Questions Taylor’s Decision

Ridge and his kids are hard at work at Forrester Creations. Ridge fears that Taylor’s decision to allow Sheila access to the cliff house on Christmas Eve will have consequences. If they give Sheila an inch, she’ll take a mile. Reverse psychology doesn’t work with a psychotic. Ridge guesses that Sheila probably believes she’s friends with Taylor now.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) trusts her mother’s judgment; Taylor hopes to defuse Sheila’s obsessive behavior. Steffy is still traumatized from watching that monster hold Hayes Finnegan (Piper Harriot).

Ridge is down because he missed out on New Year’s Eve with his wife. Brooke hasn’t been the same since he came back from his trip. Ridge is so troubled by Brooke’s behavior that he heads home.

Steffy tells her brother that Ridge wouldn’t be upset if he wasn’t with Brooke. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) urges Steffy to let it go—they have to accept that Ridge is married to Brooke, not their mother. Steffy hopes her father will wake up and realize he made a mistake in rejecting a drama-free life with Taylor.

Brooke caresses a vodka bottle and then backs away quickly. Ridge comes home to apologize about New Year’s Eve. Ridge is worried when Brooke seems despondent.

Brooke says she lost all sense of stability when Ridge wasn’t around. She tries to come to terms with what happened on New Year’s and how it went so wrong. Brooke starts to confess to Ridge and braces for his disappointment. She admits that, when Hope and the kids and Deacon left her alone that night, she messed up.
