During an interview about the paternity bombshell, the actress explained that what’s best for Hope isn’t necessarily the same as what’s best for her family. She seemed to hint that Hope forgives Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) because that’s what she thinks is best for the children.

We’re not saying that she should get with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but even he wouldn’t put Hope through everything that Liam has. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Noelle seemed to strongly suggest that Hope would leave Liam and “not be with a cheater” because that’s what’s “best for Hope,” but her focus is on the children.

However, due to Hope always wanting to do what’s best for the children, it seems she will stay with Liam. The actress told the publication, “She needs to decide if this is what’s best for her and her family. What’s best for Hope is to not be with someone who is a cheater, but what’s best for her family is a whole other story, one which would have difficulty walking away from.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that it sounds like Hope would leave Liam if it were just her. However, she doesn’t want to create an unstable or uncertain environment for Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). But as everyone knows, when mama isn’t happy, nobody is happy. Plus, kids have a tendency to be able to sense the tension. So, while Hope thinks staying with Liam is the right thing to do “for the family,” it really is the wrong route.

While Hope takes back Liam — because that’s what it is sounding like to us — her mind won’t be able to let go of Steffy’s baby. That child is innocent in all of this but will serve as a constant reminder of Liam and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) betrayal. Noelle said that she isn’t sure if Hope can truly forgive Liam and not feel resentment. So, in the grand scheme of things, it really seems like the two would be better separating. However, this is a soap and not real life. There are a lot of “Lope” fans out there, so what will the head writer decide to do about this? A marriage filled with misery is no marriage at all.
