As fans recall, after Vinny admitted to switching Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test results, Thomas blocked his best friend. So, none of those messages came through at the time.

When Thomas realizes the truth, he ends up in danger. It is confirmed that next week, Thomas will be held hostage. The person who ends up being Thomas’s captor is none other than Justin. Thomas is horrified by what Justin plans to do.

Now, this brings up a lot of questions. Why would Justin care about Vinny? Why would he allow Bill and Liam to go down for the crime? Was there a reason why Bill didn’t tell Justin about his actions that night? Remember, Justin made a point to mention that he was clueless about Bill’s cover-up until Liam told him about it.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Justin takes over Spencer Publications. Now, when Bill gets released from jail, he explodes at both Justin and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). Justin has been Bill’s right-hand man for years. He has gotten Bill out of a lot of messes in the past. So, why would he hold Thomas hostage, and what was the reason why he killed Vinny? Is there a reason why Bill explodes at Justin?

Remember, Bill never let anyone drive his favorite car. At least, until the night Vinny was killed. Bill had drinks with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), so it seems that Liam was never the intended target. Justin probably assumed that Bill would be driving the car.

Now, why would Justin kill Vinny? Perhaps he was killing two birds with one stone. By getting rid of Vinny, Justin was solving a problem. However, he wanted Bill to go down for the crime. It’s possible that if Bill can’t run Spencer Publications, the company might not go to Liam or Wyatt. Justin is a lawyer and has probably worked everything out so he gets everything if Bill dies or is unable to run the business… such as being in prison.

There is also a chance that Justin isn’t just a lawyer. He could be an undercover drug kingpin and Vinny was becoming a liability. It seems there are a lot of secrets about Justin we are going to find out. This might explain why Bill never told Justin about his murder cover-up and why he didn’t call Justin for help when Liam confessed. Bill might have known that Justin was going down a dark path and wanted no part of it. To find out for sure, we will have to keep watching the CBS soap.
