‘The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers: Liam’s Arrest Creates Chaos

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) felt compelled to tell the truth, withhold some information, and flat-out lie. That will likely make him the bad guy in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) mind the instant B&B’s default villain learns who hit his friend and fled.

Liam’s tell to Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) is an attempt to unburden himself and enable Vincent Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) loved ones to achieve a sense of justice. But Liam’s attempt to also try and protect his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), is deeply misguided.

Hardcore B&B fans recognize the rub. Liam is descending, while Thomas rises. However, Atkinson’s character, who was on a redemptive path, will be severely tested in the days ahead due to the self-reveal his longtime nemesis has offered.

Liam proclaims to be interested in ethics. As is often true in this fictional version of Los Angeles, California, that’s a strong hint at the opposite being true.

He went back and forth between Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for years. But Lord Liam’s reality shifted when John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) became Steffy’s next soul mate.

Finn told Liam months ago that his days of abusing Steffy’s heart were over. One of the links between that needed turnabout and hitting Vinny is that Liam is trying to frame his confession to fit the outcome he wants. Yes, he’s practicing inequitable manipulation.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Must Avenge Friend’s Death

Thomas is partially motivated by guilt. But his feelings are vastly different than what Liam has been harboring.

Vinny and Thomas were friends since childhood. Viewers didn’t know that until 2019 when the recurring character LoCicero played was written into the script.

Anyone would be upset when learning that a longtime connection was hit on Mulholland Drive and left for dead. But Thomas has been conflicted since learning about Vinny’s tragic demise because of the conflict they had at the hospital laboratory, which was the last time the pals saw each other.

So, Thomas has been on a mission to avenge Vinny’s death. He wants the responsible party to be punished. That establishes the developing drama that’s about to unfold.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Tries To Stand Strong

Hope is in love with Liam. He is her one and only. However, Liam’s absence from her life for an extended period of time could cause Thomas to be the man she leans on from late spring into summer.

Thomas has been demonstrating that he is serious about changing his ways. Behaving responsibly, not obsessing about Hope, and being a consistent father are strong points in his favor.

The challenge for Thomas will be to not allow himself to revert to his nasty ways, as that would jeopardize the solid progress he’s made. And Hope would surely be put off by a vengeful stance against Liam.
