The Bold and the Beautiful really outdid themselves this summer with their Il Giardino murder mystery. The soap writers pulled out all the stops, red herrings, and twists and turns possible.
If you follow daytime TV ratings, you know Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) big reveal was a smashing success for B&B. Apparently, the killer storyline was so successful, the soap opera is planning to kill off MORE people. Keep reading for all the details!

B&B was probably the LEAST deadly soap opera left on daytime. Sure, The Forrester Gang would lose someone every other year. But, their death rate couldn’t even compare to General Hospital, Young and the Restless, and Days of Our Lives.
Plus, half the times someone died on Bold and the Beautiful, they turned out not be dead. More B&B characters probably died this summer than in the last five summers combined.

The Bold and the Beautiful showrunner Bradley Bell recently sat down with Deadline to chat about the Il Giardino Whodunnit wrapping up, and their big Luna twist.
Then, Bell went on to hint that he was already preparing to write another death on soap opera. The B&B boss joked, “you have to kill them every once in a while in order to keep your credibility as a writer. And I promise myself every year I’m going to kill more people.”

The problem with a half hour soap opera is that you have half the number of characters. The writers can only cram so many faces in to thirty minutes of screen-time.
There’s no way Bell would kill off any main characters (other than Sheila because she can always come back) just for shock value. Now that he wiped out the Il Giardino staff, that aren’t a whole lot of extras running around right now to get killed off.

A mistake was made when having Rebecca Budig taking the role of Taylor. She is way to Young to be Steffy and Thomas’s Mother.
Rebecca is a great actress, just very wronge for the part. In my opinion.

Please kill off Taylor and leave her dead. I stop watching whenever Taylor has a storyline. Send Poppy, Luna, and Sally Spectra with them to soap opera purgatory from which they should never return.
HOPE AND THOMAS WAS BEST AND HOTTEST COUPLE EVER of all soaps put together.Sally spetra has made Y&R worth watching.Sally&Adam are hot and sexy also. TAYLOR and Ridge &Brook there triangle is really just a big ugly circle.For the life if me i just don’t know why 2 smart beautiful women would fight over Ridge .GH needs to off anna who sleeps with valentine and helps him escape and he has killed more then sonny has
Ever killed and sonny meds were tampered with by valentene so if sonny killed its val.who should be arested how stupid do the writers think we are. Also zenda on B&B is no actor he is no good at it..And don’t even get me started on puke boy liam on B&B he is a horriable actor.

They could have Paris and Thomas come back and kill off Paris. She doesn’t do anything and Thomas is missed.
Bring back some of the former characters like Kristen Felicia Thorne it was a big mistake killing off Beth Logan I wish the original actress from 1987 could return I liked the actress. I wish the original actress who played Donna Logan would be brought back let heather tom go back to the young and the restless as viki. After all this time I’m still not used to Amelia as viki maybe steffy from loving but not Victoria the bell soaps are a big big mess. Instead of creating a new soap they should do a guiding light or an as the world turns reboot they were far far more superior than the bell soaps those are the ones that should’ve been cancelled
