And, also on Friday, July 21, Sheila’s lawyer pops up. Soap vet Rodney Van Johnson is playing the part of Attorney Russell. He last appeared in January (the wheels of justice churn very slowly).
Daytime fans may remember the veteran actor as T.C. Russell from the now-defunct soap Passions.
Interestingly enough, the show coupled Sheila with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) last week. He made a surprise appearance at the jail and the two reminisced about old times; when she was a convict on the loose and he basically ratted her out. Does this mean something significant is about to happen between them soap fans—there are never wasted scenes on soaps!
