The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that there’s a new man coming into Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) life soon, but it’s not what you think. Actually, it’s a familiar male, but one that neither fans nor Brooke have seen in some time-Stephen Logan is coming back to the LA based sudser. Brooke’s father will once again be played by none other than primetime superstar Patrick Duffy. And he’s bringing someone special with him!

According to People, the former Dallas star will reprise his role as the Valley-dwelling Logan family patriarch for two episodes. He will be seen on Nov. 23 and Nov. 28, so it looks like there may be an extra person or two trading compliments to the person on their right at the Thanksgiving table this year.

Linda Purl, Duffy’s longtime companion, will be joining him on the CBS sudser. Purl just finished up a sensation stint on General Hospital as Peyton Roberts Honeycutt. Purl is perhaps best known for her role on Happy Days. In a case of real life imitating reel life, Purl and Duffy’s B&B characters are also a couple.

B&B spoilers – Linda Purl To Star On CBS Soap

Stephen is father to Brooke and her sister Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Duffy debuted on B&B in 2006 and exited in 2011. Prior to this Stephen was portrayed by Robert Pine from 1998 to 2001.

Two years ago Duffy spoke to People about Purl saying that theirs is, “an incredibly happy relationship. I never thought for a minute this would happen again,” he said. “I never thought I’d feel this way again.”

Duffy was married to the late ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser for more than four decades; she died of cancer in 2017.

Duffy and Purl reconnected during the pandemic. They had been friends years ago and got reacquainted on a group text chain. Ultimately the chain became just the two of them and at that point Duffy notes, “I loaded up my car and drove 20 hours and ended up on her doorstep just to see if it was real. We haven’t been apart since.”

She wanted him to reunite with his estranged wife, Beth Logan (Nancy Burnett) who was having an affair with Eric Forrester (John McCook). Ironically, Eric is now having an affair with Donna!
