The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate Los Angeles can be a flurry of activity when it comes to new character arrivals and departures. Read on to see all the returns, exits, special guests, and more happening in 2026, below.
Interesting Recasts
RJ returned to L.A.’s fashion scene in mid-January, but with a slightly different face. The son of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) officially resurfaced on January 15, as actor Brayan Nicoletti was recast in the role. He took over for Joshua Homan, who played RJ from 2023 to 2024.
Major Character Locked In
While Sydney Bullock had been playing Melissa Dylan on The Bold and the Beautiful since June 2025, in January 2026, the show “locked her in” by presenting her with a contract.
Bullock signed it and thus became a permanent fixture on the show, currently in a sizzling love triangle with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra.
Special Guests
Morgan Fairchild reprised her role of San Francisco socialite, Dottie, twice already in 2026. The character was originally introduced to Bold and the Beautiful fans in 2009 as a friend of Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery).
During both appearances, Dottie’s trusted assistant, Joseph, played by Jim J. Bullock, also appeared. Fairchild and Bullock were in scenes on the soap during the week of January 26-30, as well as the March 16 episode.
January’s run surrounded a storyline where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) were on a business trip in San Fran, while March’s stint brought Dottie and Joseph to L.A. to attend the Logan fashion house launch.
Fairchild is known for her roles on primetime, including Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest, and her guest appearances on the iconic sitcom Friends as Nora Tyler Bing, Chandler Bing’s (Matthew Perry) mom.
More recently, she’s taken the land of daytime by storm, with runs on General Hospital, playing Home & Heart host, Haven de Havilland, as well as Days of Our Lives in 2017, as Anjelica Deveraux.
Speaking of Steffy and Electra’s San Francisco trip, singer, model, and actress, Ariel D. King, also appeared that week during the January 26 show playing Harmony, while reality TV star, Spencer Pratt, reprised his ‘Rich the reporter’ role during the January 28 episode.
Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) professional dancers, Marcquet Hill and Gleb Savchenko, made an appearance on the CBS soap during the week of February 9-13 as some male dancers who were a part of Daphne Rose’s (Murielle Hilaire) bridal shower celebration.
Shocking Returns
Delon de Metz returned to the canvas during the February 12 episode, reprising his Zende Forrester role.
