The CBS Bold and the Beautiful spoilers & updates reveal that rumors have been circulating that we could see an old face return. One family that fans would like to see come back are the Avants. Bradley Bell, executive producer, and head writer were asked about the possibility. According to Bell’s Bold and Beautiful spoilers, it looks like they could be part of some future storylines.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – The Avant Family

This family made its debut on B&B in 2013 and should be considered a core family. They are just as important as the Logans, Forresters, and Spencers. In fact, many of the characters have either been married to an Avant or were in some sort of relationship with them. More importantly, they have been the center of some major storylines, and fans would like to see them return.

When Bell was asked if the Avants could return in the future, he told SoapCentral,

“Absolutely. I love all of the actors in the Avant family — Anna Maria Horsford (Vivienne Avant), Obba Babatundé (Julius Avant), and Karla Mosley (Maya Avant), all of them.”

B&B Spoilers – Fans Want More Diversity

It is clear that fans want more diversity on the show. At some point, the soap was doing well in that regard, but then the non-white characters began disappearing. Viewers are being very vocal about their desires for the series moving forward and bringing back the Avants is on their wish list. Plus, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) should be part of some more major storylines, and new characters of different races should be cast.

Also, the soap should be careful not to “villainize” everyone who isn’t white. Good and bad people are all different colors and they all should be represented in various ways on the soap.

The Bold And The Beautiful Comings & Goings Spoilers – What About The Buckinghams?

Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) went to prison, so we don’t expect to see him anytime soon. Plus, he has a regular job, so it would be difficult for him to come on full-time with The Bold and the Beautiful.

However, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) returned and got involved with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Unfortunately, it was a ruse by Thomas in order to get back Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). With her getting her job back at Forrester Creations, perhaps we will see more of her in the future.

B&B Spoilers  – What Else To Expect?

The executive producer and head writer teased that the Black Lives Matter movement has influenced storylines that we will see very soon. He also mentioned that the coronavirus pandemic has definitely had an effect and plays a part in the scriptwriting. As to how exactly COVID-19 will be referenced, we are not sure of yet.

In addition, expect some new faces on the canvas and “incredible twists” in storylines coming up.
