But now the actor’s daughter Molly McCook has taken time to post a sweet tribute to John’s three decades on The Bold And The Beautiful via TV Insider.

Adding to the rumor mill, The Bold And The Beautiful has shown Eric coping with a dangerous illness. And his physician has given him just weeks left.

Because more of Eric’s relatives will discover the scary news this week, fans suspect that McCook might depart.

However, in her Instagram tribute video, Molly focused on her father’s legacy. And John’s daughter wrote, “I hadn’t visited since the pandemic so this was a very special day. My dad is an actor. He has been on The Bold and the Beautiful for over 30 years, which is as long as I’ve been on this earth.”

And John’s daughter called his years on The Bold And The Beautiful “a gift for him and to our family. Because it’s so rare that you have a job for that long as an actor,” she pointed out.

In her video, Molly shared the photos and other items that her father keeps in his dressing room. 

“Truly every inch of these walls is covered in memorabilia and memories from the show, and music that he made and people he has been inspired by,” revealed Molly.

And she pointed out John’s Daytime Emmy plaque. Another highlight featured a letter from Betty White, who stayed in his dressing room when she appeared on the The Bold And The Beautiful.

And Molly shared that she became an actress after watching her father perform. “Coming here as a kid and running around with my little curly hair and watching my dad work was one of the very reasons I was inspired to do what I do today. It’s incredible,” revealed Molly.

The father and daughter duo starred in the Discovery+ produced film Candy Coated Christmas.

And John proudly posted his daughter’s video on his own Instagram. But he joked, “Never leave anyone alone in your dressing room.” However, Molly’s mom and John’s wife, Battlestar Galactica alum Laurette Spang-McCook, shared, “Seeing it all put together like that is beautiful Moll. Our family is truly blessed with so much love.”
