The Bold and the Beautiful fans have always campaigned for Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor) to get more screen time on the CBS soap. Despite being one of the most eligible bachelors in Los Angeles, the hunky Forrester Creations legal beagle is often friendzoned and unlucky in love.
Would he be more appreciated on another soap, like the highly anticipated new daytime drama The Gates?
The Gates Will Be Similar To The Iconic All-Black Soap Opera Generations From The 1990’s
Earlier this year CBS and Proctor & Gamble announced a collaboration with the NAACP, and revealed they were launching the first new daytime soap opera in decades.
The Gates is set to follow a wealthy African-American family living in a gated and posh community.
CBS’ new soap opera is set to premiere in January 2025, and the network is being tight-lipped on casting. Rumor has it there will be some serious heavy-hitters joining the Gates cast, and some of them are leaving their current shows to do so.
The Young and the Restless fans are currently in an uproar because of rumors that Christel Khalil is headed to Gates and abandoning the role of Lily Winters Ashby.

Lawrence St. Victor has always been grateful for the time he does get on the show, and doesn’t even seem to be bitter about living in the Forresters’ shadows. But, if he had a chance to be the lead on a hot new ground-breaking daytime drama, wouldn’t he be crazy not to take it?
There are several casting rumors floating around about The Gates right now, as soon as CBS confirms the star-studded cast we will be sure to pass the news along.

Like Kristoff’s character, “Neill on Y&R” his character on “B&B” was nothing more than “A YES MAN.” He wasted his time.
If that’s were he wants to go go. He doesn’t get any good story lines on B&B, exspecially when the show is wrapped around all things logans. Besides they alway make him out to be a sappy pathetic boy friend type guy.
Kudos to both Actors I hope they both are on the New Soap I Wish them Well on this New Journey.
