Denise Richards Plays Leading Role In New Lifetime Movie

 The new Lifetime Movie in which Denise Richards stars is titled “Killer Cheer Mom,” according to Soap Opera News.

The movie focuses on a woman named Riley. Recently arrived in town, Riley decides to see if she can make it onto the cheer squad. 

However, even as Riley improves with her cheer skills, she notices something scary going on. Some of the cheerleaders unexpectedly become hurt or expelled.

And Riley starts to wonder. Is it possible that her stepmother is actually causing her competition to suffer? 

The script for “Killer Cheer Mom” is authored by Anna White. Randy Carter directs the movie.

How Does Denise Richards Feel About The Bold And The Beautiful?

Denise opened up about how she felt making her daytime soap opera debut on “The Bold and the Beautiful” to USA Today.

Reflecting on her character as Shauna, Richards said she thought it would be fun, challenging and different to play a single mom from Las Vegas with “a past and big secrets to spill.” “

Denise admitted that the pace at which soap operas are filmed is intense.

“It is a very well-oiled machine, and they shoot pretty much two episodes a day,” Richards revealed. “There are a lot of pages of dialogue, so you just have to know your stuff and be ready.”

Fans of Denise on The Bold And The Beautiful might wonder if they can watch the actress in other roles.

In addition to her upcoming Lifetime movie, Richards has starred in films such as Wild Things, Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection, Blonde & Blonder, Scary Movie 3, and Love Actually.

Denise also challenged herself recently by joining the cast of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH). However, Richards halted her participation early in season 10.

Asked whether Denise might return for season 11 of RHOBH, executive producer Andy Cohen revealed that attempts to negotiate a deal with her failed.

“We were negotiating a deal with her and we couldn’t reach an agreement on the deal,” said Cohen. “I’m just sad we couldn’t reach an agreement.”

But Richards hasn’t stopped there. She collaborated with Shoedazzle to design the “Eloise” heel, raising more than $15,000 for the Kidney Cancer Association.
