Pierson Fode Who Used To Play Thomas Forrester Is Going Through A Difficult Medical Condition

In an Instagram post, Fode talked about the ordeal he dealt with in the past one and a half months. “I’m not dead! I’m actually quite far from it now,” he wrote. “Although over the last month and a half I managed to have a few beers and ponder life with ol’ grim reaper.”

However, Fode refused to share complete details of what he went through. Instead, he talked about a square device attached to his chest, which enables his doctors to track blackouts related to brain trauma. “It keeps reminding me that maybe this can give someone else in a similar state hope,” he said.

He went to ponder about making a film about it one day, and then expressed his gratitude for everyone who’s been with him as he gets treatment for his illness.

Pierson Fode Is Very Thankful For Everyone Who Has Helped Him Through His Illness

“I just wanted to say how grateful I am to be back to myself. Thankful for everyone that reached out, even if I was unable to respond. Grateful for my friends and family who encouraged me and gave me hope along the way (that was very needed). Grateful to the doctors. Grateful for the life I get to live,” he further wrote. “Our life here is short be sure you don’t take it too seriously, cut out the negative, and have a damn good time while you’re at it.”

Pierson Fode played Thomas Forrester on B&B from 2015 to 2018. After giving it much thoughts, the actor decided that it’s time to pursue other things that his heart desires. He then expressed that he hopes to pass the baton of playing Thomas to another “hideous-looking guy,” and now Matthew Atkinson has taken over the role.

Fode is also known for his roles on “Storytellers,” “Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List,” and “MDMA.” After leaving “The Bold and the Beautiful,” he starred in a movie “It’s Time,” which is still in the post-production stage. He also appeared as Yonder on “The Real Bros of Simi Valley,” “Hit the Floor,” and “Glamorous.”
