The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show’s audience is so enthralled with the current front burner plot that they have been tuning in in impressive numbers to watch the whodunit involving Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). The tidal wave of viewers is reflected in the daytime broadcast ratings for the week of April 4-8, 2022.

The Bold and the Beautiful (3.179 million/2.1) bested all soaps in the ratings as fans tuned in to see the consequences of Finn’s death and Steffy’s coma. Big, bad, Sheila shot her own son trying to shoot Steffy, and when Steffy tried to dial 911 mommy dearest shot her in the chest at point blank range.  The red hot action was enough to help the show gain 288,000 total viewers for the week, and to remain steady or increase across all key demos. Over the past two weeks B&B has gained a significant total of 512,000 viewers and it is down only 4,000 viewers from 2020; these are their best numbers of the 2021-2022 season.

B&B Spoilers – Do Fans Want To See Brooke Logan Front And Center?

Before the shooting the show dedicated an entire episode to Brooke “Community Mattress” Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Lang and John McCook (Eric Forrester) are the two current cast members who debuted with the show. The decision to feature Brooke and her many “loves” was controversial among fans, who thought Eric had a greater story to tell. He is the Forrester family patriarch and was married to the show’s matriarch Stephanie (Susan Flannery).
