The Bold And The Beautiful News Update: B&B Is Number 1 In The Ratings WarCBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal the good news that the CBS sudser cashed in on its daytime return by earning the number one spot in the daytime drama rating race.

The Bold and the Beautiful returned with all-new episodes last week and viewers rewarded its return by tuning in in droves so much so that the soap was catapulted to the top of the rating heap.

Prior to its return, the show halted production in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. It began filming in June. Of the four American soaps including Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, it is the first to return to filming. Only DOOL has not resorted to using repeat episodes since its films so far in advance it has plenty of episodes on tape.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – The CBS Sudser Is The First Of Three Daytime Dramas To Air New Content Following The Shutdown

The Bold and the Beautiful came in first in Households (1.6) and viewers (2.10 million). There was a tie for second place with NBC’s Days of our Lives (also airing original episodes) and CBS’s The Young and the Restless (airing repeats) tied for second place with a 1.4 in Households and 1.89 in viewers.

General Hospital flashbacks have not been counted in the ratings and the show is expected to air new content Monday, August 3 barring any unforeseen need for preemption.

B&B Spoilers – Last week Was A Pivotal One For The CBS Show

So, what exactly aired during the week of B&B’s triumphant run to number one?

Viewers witnessed a joyful reunion between high school sweethearts Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). In fact, it was quite dramatic as Wyatt freed Flo from a radiator in Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) apartment.

Elsewhere Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) hit Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) while she was riding her motorcycle. Note to Steffy: Please Steffy, stop riding that thing, this is two times at least that you have to meet with doom on your bike!

Anyway, the brunette vixen wound up in the hospital where she met hot doc John “Finn” Finnegan, played by Tanner Novlan. Did anyone else notice that despite all the pain she was in that Steffy still managed to waggle her eyebrows at him?

Fans have been told to expect a sizzling and epic adventure between these two young and restless characters!
