The Bold and the Beautiful POLL: Is the Baby Beth Reveal Delivering?The secret has been out for a handful of episodes on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Douglas Spencer (Henry Joseph Samiri) played hero, telling Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle)) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that their daughter was alive.

Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) is alive! Beth is Phoebe Forrester! That long-awaited revelation was the climax to the storyline that’s been playing on B&B for many months. But do devoted soap fans believe that the reveal is delivering?

It’s fair to question various points in any long storyline. But the plot trip wire, where Douglas overheard his villainous father, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), speaking to Flo Fulton Logan (Katrina Bowden) produced slam dunk shots.

Having Thomas make that type of an unforced error was brilliant. Then, to have his own son, who he’s manipulated into forming an emotional bond with Hope, become the person who knew what the right thing to do was and did it.

Douglas became angry when his dad tried to convince him that he misheard him say that Beth was alive and that Phoebe was Beth. Having Thomas grab his son’s arm and threaten to abandon him if he didn’t comply were steps too far. That pushed Douglas to tell what he knew.


Bold and Beautiful Spoilers – Stunning Rooftop Moments

It played like a movie, which was fitting based on B&B’s California setting. The three principal players moved from Forrester Creations’ main office to the upper floor of the building and then to the helipad, where Thomas planned his escape with Hope.

Viewers saw no railings, or walls. Noelle, Clifton, and Atkinson were simply on top of a real building where an actual helicopter could land. Liam and Thomas fought, with each person getting their licks in.

Finally, Liam put Thomas in a headlock. Hope asked her current husband if what she’d just learned was true. Thomas said nothing and put his head down, which is when the reveal enlightened her soul.

Aftermath Playing Out

As is true of extended storylines, the aftermath needs to play out for awhile. Tender scenes with Hope, Liam, and Beth are showing at the cliff house, while tense moments are held back at Forrester.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are upset for reasons that are both shared and different. Brooke’s demand for answers from Flo, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) brought admissions and tears.

Ridge is concerned about the impact this will have on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He also contacted the authorities so that they can pursue Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) for arrest.

Thomas was last seen running off the helipad. He needs to be dealt with next, along with all of the enablers that allowed this kidnapping and false adoption to persist.

      I loved that Douglas was the one to reveal it. Took way too long but that was great. Now that everyone knows that Thomas is crazy I would love to see Hope and Liam adopt Douglas

      I I don’t like Hope’s character but I especially dislike this particular Hope. She’s way too needy, weepy, clingy, and the. Switches to passive aggressive catatonic. In between were led to believe that she is nothing short of a saint and no one’s that good. I’m not happy that no one has taken Steffie‘s feelings into consideration here since she was the innocent party in all of this.

      I don’t think it has anything to do with the actress. She doesn’t write the show. The neediness and clinginess is the way the writers wrote the character..

      You GOT to be KIDDING, she’s an actress, Doing a job, & a damn well job at that! At least she can’t say certain FANS STUCK, like you just COMMITTED, Its obvious that you are a Steffy fan, get over yourself, there actresses, the people & things they portray has no bearing on the real live drama – Suck it up or at least be able to distinguish what’s “Reel” & REAL LIFE- there just doing there jobs
