‘Logan’ is the nickname Ridge applies to Brooke. It’s her maiden name, but also a sign of his enduring fondness for her.
This poll question, when viewed from any angle, isn’t a debate about whether Brooke and Ridge still love each other. It’s also doesn’t request speculation about whether they are each other’s soul mate, as they surely are that.

Instead, current circumstances are being considered. Brooke not only distrusts Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), she’s disgusted by his escape from needed justice.
Brooke is angry because, when offered a choice, Ridge chose to protect Thomas, rather than allow justice to be applied to his reckless son. The result allows Thomas full, legal clear. With no consequences being suffered, what’s to prevent him from targeting Hope Forrester (Annika Noelle) again, or even fixating upon someone else?

Ridge let Thomas have it when both men were alone in the hospital room setting. Kaye’s character pulled no punches, telling Atkinson’s brilliantly portrayed alter ego that he didn’t recognize him and was disappointed to the strongest possible degree.
However, after Thomas took his verbal lashing, he also exhibited vulnerability that appeared to be genuine. That affected Ridge, who previously told Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that he was only going to allow Thomas to fall so far.
Knowing that various family members, including Brooke and Hope, would be opposed to the decision to help Thomas didn’t serve to deter Ridge. When Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) gave him the chance to fight Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) immunity deal, or go along with it, the choice was clear.
Enabling Flo to work with the authorities also means that Thomas’ name, that of his family and Forrester Creations won’t be smeared across the digital sky. But Ridge did assume a responsibility to handle Thomas’ release and recovery.
Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers – Stick Together Or Break Apart?
Solid couples know how to forgive because they’ve done so before. Brooke and Ridge have various choices to make now that Thomas is banned from moving back into the Logan estate.
Ridge can accept his wife’s decision, or reject it. The issue with Thomas and the connected one regarding Hope, Liam, and Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) might be resolvable over time.
Ridge will have to reconsider what he’s doing in order for this couple’s dynamic to change. As for Brooke, her stance has been strongly stated, leaving the daytime ball in Ridge’s court.
