Then, just as Steffy was going to reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) tipped her off to Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) imminent arrival at the cliff house, the script went in a different direction. Soap fans were anticipating this delay. They’ve also informed viewers, so they represent the target audience that can answer the headline question of this feature article.

There’s no way around it if Steffy withholds information she’ll be lying to Liam. Wood’s character will be knowingly furthering Thomas’ plan by allowing him to believe that her embrace of him and subsequent kiss happened organically.

Atkinson’s masterfully manipulative alter ego trailed Hope to the cliff house. He called his sister on the way and gave her a choice. If she wanted to restore ‘Steam’, then she was being presented with a unique opportunity to push that agenda.

By remaining silent, Steffy won’t be gaining a certain future. Instead, she’ll be supporting Liam during this period of vulnerability after Hope dumped him. And, even in considering that Liam will surely come to know what Steffy did in time, she’ll have time to restore their bond and hopefully overcome whatever future response he’ll have regarding her betrayal.

B&B Spoilers – The Truth Sets Steffy Forrester Free

Liam values honesty, as most people do. So, if Steffy tells him exactly what happened, he’s sure to be angry.

However, Liam continues to hold Thomas to account for what’s happened in recent months. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), while guilty of conceiving of implementing the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) kidnapping and sale, is in jail. Thomas threatened vengeance against Liam, not Reese.

So, by divulging what happened, Steffy would at least gain the ability, to tell the truth, and allow Liam to decide if he wants to be with her since Hope appears adamant about ending ‘Lope’.


The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Needs To Trust Liam Spencer

Steffy never stopped loving Liam. She’s openly stated that she wants to be with him and to raise their daughter, Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney) together.

Putting her love to the test would be bold, especially at this point in the storyline. But doing something different, rather than repeating past patterns could give ‘Steam’ a better chance at reviving and then surviving.

True love is based on mutual respect. Hope just dumped Liam because she rightly recognized disrespect. Steffy’s choice is clear. But what’s unknown is what happens next.
