Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) currently has two options on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), his wife, is one. The other is Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).

Shauna calculated that an opportunity would arise if she simply had patience. The elder Miss Fulton’s thoughts have paid off to-date, as ‘Bridge’ faces increasing personal strife that’s based on their children’s problems. That gives Shauna a real chance to call Ridge her significant other in the near future and potentially, given enough time, her husband.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Remains Number One

There’s no real argument about who Ridge loves more than any other person on the planet. Sorry Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), that lady is Brooke.

Even while he’s allowed more than a platonic friendship to develop with Shauna, Ridge has continued to tell people, including Richards’ character, that he intends to fix his latest marriage to Brooke.

All versions of ‘Bridge’ create a dynamic that means a permanent bond will exist between them no matter what happens between Brooke and Ridge in late 2019. But as proved true in the past, love often hasn’t been enough for their unions to last.

B&B Spoilers – Shauna Fulton Recognized As A Threat

Brooke’s many breakups with Ridge partially fueled her accurately recognizing Shauna as a threat. While many women have targeted Kaye’s character for their affections, Shauna’s position within the Logan family put her Ridge’s current eye line.

Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) criminal act, in assisting Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) to conceal Beth Spencer’s (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) identity and then aid in her sale to Taylor, in the form of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) private adoption, resulted in a jail sentence. But Ridge refused to oppose Flo’s immunity deal, as that likely would have jeopardized Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) freedom.

Shauna’s fondness for Ridge turned into gratitude and infatuation, with ‘Bridge’s’ latest marital issues opening the door to a side couple that could one day be termed ‘Shidge’.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Blinded By Current Problems

Brooke has the deepest insight into Ridge. She sees that he’s allowed Thomas’ issues to blind him to various realities. Resulting tensions surrounding Atkinson’s character and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) also are giving Shauna many opportunities to take Ridge’s side, which he greatly appreciates.

Ridge can’t see that Brooke’s logic is sound, instead choosing to believe that his parental instincts are more important that his wife’s concerns. Shauna does genuinely care about Ridge, but Brooke thinks she’s merely a relationship opportunist and a gold-digger.
