Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) are battling on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Who’ll win is an intriguing question.

Lang’s iconic character has taken matters into her own hands and believes doing so will solve one of her problems. While Brooke sees Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) as a negative force, she hasn’t been able to do anything about him.

So, Quinn has become her target following the revelation that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was more involved with Shauna Fulton (Katrina Bowden) than was previously known. However, Sofer’s character is defending her reputation, marriage, and turf by fighting back, both physically and now, psychologically.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Drink Spike Means Game On

Quinn hesitated before allowing Brooke to down the juice drink that was spiked with liquor. She told Brooke that she didn’t want to fight with her, but Brooke declined.

Viewers won’t know what Sofer’s character would have done if Brooke would have backed off, even a little, or if Quinn had a change of heart regardless. A soapy scenario where the bottle was taken out of Brooke’s hands, dropped to the floor in the Forrester mansion’s living room and broke would have been plausible. But that didn’t happen.

Brooke swallowed hard, without smelling, or tasting the hint of her liquid enemy. And with that viewers sensed that a revisit of the alcohol abuse backstory was being mined.

An undue amount of stress has resulted from all that’s happened within the last year. ‘Bridge’ was fine and Brooke and Quinn had no issues between them. Then, Thomas flew home with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) from New York, which followed Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) untimely death.

The recast of the character Atkinson plays and the SORAS’ing (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) of Samiri’s alter ego greatly impacted this fictional version of Los Angeles, California, as intended by B&B’s outstanding decision-makers and writing staff.

Thomas’ ongoing obsession with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has amazingly regained its footing. That combined with the threat Thomas made against Brooke, intending to rid her from his father’s life and from Forrester Creations, Shauna’s interference with ‘Bridge’, and Quinn’s strongly stated choice to defend herself from Brooke’s threat to separate her from Eric Forrester (John McCook) creates what could be too many sources of conflict.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Uncertain Winner And Surprises To Come

It would far too easy to say that Brooke will take to the bottle and be easily defeated by Quinn. That could happen, as the first part of this rapidly developing storyline. But surely Brooke wouldn’t stay down during any second act.

Quinn previously demonstrated her chops when she stopped Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) cold. However, Eric could realize that he’s wrong about his wife’s dark side being gone, and realize the horror of Quinn’s alcohol trick. That alone could cause ‘Queric’ to separate, or split, which could send Sofer’s character reeling.

It’s too soon to see a definitive winner, if there will be one, as both ladies, who openly state they came from the wrong side of the tracks, are resilient survivors.
