Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) committed crimes on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. So how could his dad, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) be worse than him?
Choosing to believe that Thomas isn’t mentally unstable is understandable, to a certain degree. There have been many characters on B&B who have chosen to overlook their children’s issues because of parental feelings. But that doesn’t justify Ridge intentionally choosing to coverup what Thomas did to Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on Mulholland Drive in June.
Thomas’ all-out obsession with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), her last name at the time, as she was married to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), caused him to withhold what he learned about Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) being alive. However, it’s still fair to argue that Ridge’s later actions makes him the worse person.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester’s Mental Health State
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Liam recognized far sooner than Hope and others that Thomas is not mentally stable. The man needs help and hasn’t been getting it.
After the cliff fall, Ridge created a patchwork health care solution where he, Thomas, and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) moved into Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) home. Plus, Thomas talks with his mother, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) on the phone, which apparently represents telemedicine in Ridge’s mind.
B&B Spoilers – Emma Barber And Shauna Fulton
Has Brooke covered up a death like her husband has? No.
Has Brooke been kissing another man like Ridge has been kissing Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), who he’s also been sharing intimate details of his life and marriage with? Again, no.
Brooke exhausted all logical options when it came to getting through to Ridge. He refused to accept her warning calls about Thomas and has been allowing himself to grow close to another woman while claiming that moving back in with Brooke is a top priority.
The above doesn’t square with the truth, Ridge.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Daytime Of Reckoning Approaches
B&B fans likely feel that Thomas’ latest incredible survival will spark a day(time)
of reckoning for him and Ridge. Hope has seemingly gained shared custody of Douglas, which could easily lead to a legal battle that Kaye’s character will encourage. Surely, Atkinson’s character will again be portrayed as the victim of the vat-fall incident as well.
At the same time, Ridge’s developing involvement with Shauna can’t remain hidden forever. That connection must have been written into the script in order to exploit it at an exact prime moment in the plot, which appears to be rapidly approaching.
Yes, Thomas caused Emma’s death and for that crime he deserves to face legal punishment. At the same time, Ridge covered up that event and has been wronging his wife throughout the fall.

First of all I don’t appreciate you trying to defame one of the shows original and more beloved characters Ridge Forrester. Comparing Thomas or Brooke’s misdeeds to Ridges is like comparing apples and oranges.
Long time fans of B&B like myself has watched the character of Thomas Forrester develop since he debuted as a infant born to once super couple Ridge and Taylor Forrester. It’s hard to watch a beloved member of the Forrester family fall so far from grace without hoping that he will one day redeem himself.
As for your unwarranted assassination of Ridge’s character depicting him as an enabling father, co-conspirator and cheating husband nothing could be further from the truth!
Brooke practically pushed him into Shauna arms with her unfair expectations of Ridge. What loving father would turn his back on his child especially in their time of need?
Is Thomas unstable? Unfortunately yes but remember he is also a beloved family member of the Forresters and to long-time fans. Ridge is not an enabling father for he demanded Thomas admit the truth to him concerning his part in the baby Beth secret and Emma’s death. Thomas did withhold the truth about Beth but he was found not guilty of murder after two investigations into Emma’s accident had been made. Therefore so far Thomas is not a criminal just a liar. Thomas is not a monster he’s Ridge’s child. A character who we have watched grow before our eyes on screen therefore he’s our child and brother.
I agree with the ‘Keeping-it-Real’ fan, your comments are no founded and very biased in defaming the character of Thomas Forrester.
