By agreeing to adopt Thomas’ son, Hope also consented to an equal custody arrangement. Atkinson’s character took that as a sign of good faith. He also hoped that Noelle’s character was signaling a chance existed for a real edition of ‘Thope’ to form in the future.
Hope seems to believe Thomas is forming a relationship with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), which spurned another challenge. Thomas asked Hope if they have a future. Assuming that’s not possible, then he plans to pursue Zoe.
The above begs the question as to whether Hope will begin considering Thomas as a romantic option, building off her commitment to Douglas, or proceed with the option of seeking full custody?

Hope could always rehash what happened last year on B&B. She could relay multiple tales of Thomas’ unhinged behavior, but doing so would likely provoke questions as to why she agreed to co-parent Douglas without also turning his father into the authorities for misdeeds.

Thomas seems incapable of avoiding controversy and has a history of rash actions. So, it seems fair to believe that his pattern will continue.
Based on pure speculation it’s possible that Hope will be involved in, or become aware of, yet another reckless incident and then cite that as her basis for seeking full custody of Douglas. Whether a judge would granted it is another plot point to consider.
B&B Spoilers – Thope Wasn’t A Real Couple
Everyone knew that ‘Thope’ wasn’t a real couple as Thomas was pursuing his first marriage to Hope in 2019. A series of events, sparked by the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) kidnapping, led her to believe that leaving Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and marrying Thomas was best for all involved.

That forced, faux nuptial ended soon after it began. Thomas’ participation in forwarding the Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) ruse, where she was revealed as being Beth, led to Hope immediately ending that marriage. Thomas didn’t fight it, but planned to continue his pursuit.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Remarriage Isn’t Far-Fetched Storyline
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) said that he believes Hope appears to be drawn to Thomas’ bad boy persona. That perception will be tested in the coming weeks, as Hope’s thoughts about Douglas’ father will either be shown to have evolved or remained the same.
Liam’s recent kiss of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) naturally caused Hope to feel betrayed. Her choice to again send him packing does seem to give Thomas another chance. But the possibility of Hope developing real feelings for him could also exist, which could be followed by an eventual ‘Thope’ remarriage.

I think that Hope should seek full custody of Douglas after Thomas goes too far.
God I hope she doesn’t marry Thomas and no I don’t think she should go for full custody. However I don’t think Thomas should be allowed to have access to his son without someone being with him but not Hope. When the heck is Ridge going to see the light and help his son like he should and as Brook has been try to tell him. When the heck are you going to get Steffy to tell the true about the kiss with Liam a d when the heck are you going to put Liam a d Hope back together. Stop dragging things out for ever. It is a HUGE turn off. I don’t even watch the show much anymore knowing in a weeks time the bull will still be going on.
