Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was surprised by the drop off in the quality of her work. But they decided that the pressure of the Fashion Showdown and possibly the break from Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) combined to throw Sally off.

Instead, Sally’s hospital visit came after she decided something wasn’t right. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) happened upon her appointment, in a planned soapy twist, which proves helpful based on the anticipated dire diagnosis.

If Sally is terminal, she’ll die soon, or be miraculously cured. The consequences of each outcome will soon be seen.

Wyatt’s second break from Sally resulted through circumstances that were different then when he first dumped her. Sally was given the boot last summer because Wyatt decided her withhold of information Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) told her represented a betrayal of trust. Atkinson’s character was intending to split ‘Lope’ at that time. Months later, after having sheepishly begged Sally’s forgiveness, Wyatt decided to return to Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), who he originally left Hope’s alter ego for.

Sally’s demise would crush the Spectra family and Sally’s friends from the former fashion house. But this projected tragic ending would also crush Wyatt as well, potentially affecting his relationship with Flo. The self-centered view from Wyatt’s perspective must be mentioned based on his demonstrated outlook and current feelings of guilt in ending the sequel to ‘Wally’.

If anything could serve to keep ‘Wally’ alive it would be Sally’s heart continuing to pump blood on this earth. And if she lives, Sally will be motivated to fight for what she believes in.

Wyatt is someone who Sally loves. His coming actions during the health fight could alter her view, of course. But assuming passion persists, Sally will be able to follow through on her plan to not allow Wyatt to kill ‘Wally’ off.
