‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Preview Week Of Jan 5: Marriage Proposal, Katie’s Designer, Steffy’s Horror

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of January 5, 2026. It shows an unexpected marriage proposal. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) hires her first designer.

Plus, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) learns her mother’s secret. Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Carter Walton’s Marriage Proposal

At the beginning of the preview clip, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) seems to be walking out of a room in Forrester Creations. Suddenly, she turns around when Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) says she’s not pushing him away.

Then, he gets down on one knee. The Nose asks the COO what on Earth he is doing. That is when the man replies, “I love you.” 

While these two are definitely smitten with each other, I think it’s a bit early for a marriage proposal! Carter and Daphne aren’t even living together yet – unless I missed something?

Daphne Rose’s Dilemma

On the other hand, Carter is well-known for pressing the turbo button on his romances. Zoe Buckingham (last played by Kiara Barnes) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) both had failed engagements with Carter.

There was also Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom). None of those worked out and it just seems that Carter moves way too fast in relationships. So, will Daphne say yes, or could she urge Carter to wait? 

Taylor Hayes’ Mistake

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that the preview clip also shows Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). The woman is in her office at the hospital. Standing up, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is standing very close to her. It appears that the two could be about to share a kiss!

However, Steffy somehow finds out. By the body posture of Taylor in the preview clip, it seems like Steffy might get an eyeful!

Then, Steffy confronts Taylor at home. Taylor seems rigid as if she’s caught off guard. Taylor rips into her mother about having an affair with a patient. Then, Steffy reminds Taylor that Deacon is married to Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown)!

Katie Logan Spencer’s New Hire

Then, we have Katie, who begins her search for the perfect designer. The woman ends up making an offer to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone). The brunette says, “I might be able to help you fulfil your dreams, and you might be able to help me prove my sister wrong.”
